I don't know if this thread is point less but I was thinking of ways to keep CE alive in our hearts and on the boards. And I thought it would be cool to talk about the possible future of Celebration Europe.
Mods, if this thread is useless. Lock away

I definatly think there should be a second Celebration Europe, like around the 30th anniversary of ESB possibly. Now LucasFilm know how much of a success this one was, they can make it bigger and better!

When we ran into Jay La'gaia after the Battle of the Bands, he mentioned the next Celebration in 2009, because the organisers had to book for the two cons. And he also mentioned the second CE.
Anyway, I'll be there!

CE2...
I wonder if they'll remodel the QE2 for it...

I plan on going to both CE2 and CV. Let's hope they use more of ExCeL or use somewhere bigger.

Yeah. A bigger space would do nicely. Less queuing, more time for fun next time.

We shouldn't have to queue one we've gotten in either. It was far too annoying having to walk the length of it twice to get to the FF table.

It would be cool if they use ExCel again for CE2 but I think it would be unfair to hold all our Celebrations in the UK.

I'm going to both C5 and CE2 for sure. The money will come from somewhere.
It would be fun if they moved around, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had to sign a contract to do a certain number of conventions at ExCeL. That was what happened in LA with the convention center there; they had to commit to doing two celebrations there.

That was my understanding, that they had to book two events there. We'll have to wait and see though.

Yeah, they should so come and make a CE in Prague!
Just think of it...
Beautiful historical city centre...
Cheap travel...
Cheap beer and other alcohol (and legal absinthe, too!)...
Mar available to cook dinner...
