Yes, it is very cool. In case some don't know, we do have a no autograph policy at the party. Everyone is there to have a good time, including the actors. They sign enough during the day.
They are very friendly and social as well.

If I somehow manage to make it C3, I will definately be in attendence.
I will sleep in a box outside the convention centre if that means I am able to make it

Cool! This event is very unique becuase you are able to actually have a conversation with the actors that make us giddy!! I wonder if Dave Prowse will be there. I am thinking of wearing my Vader costume w/breathing effect to the party! OMG!! I can't wait!!

I went to this thing at Celebration II and it was the best party in town that night. There were a few SW actors there, including Chewie and some of the more notable Imperial officers, but for me the best part was enjoying the other fans, all of whom shared a deep passion for these films.
Most of the time, when I spit out a SW line in every day conversaion, most other people either don't know what I am referencing, or roll their eyes because they -do- know what I am referencing. At the 501's party, everyone nods with a knowing glance.

So is there going to be any particular dress code? You know, fancy, casual, semi-casual, etc?

I'm guessing there will be music and dancing. It would be cool if some Star Wars fan bands could be secured for the evening to play and even cooler albeit more expensive if they wanted to secure a big name Star Wars fan band like Weezer.

There's no ticket info as of yet. The Indy Knights & Bloodfin Garrison will have the necessary info up and available in plenty of time with plenty of notice, once specifics are set.
The party will be returning the the Hyatt Regency and we'll have the entire ballroom...actually, the entire floor. Apparently at the last party we bought so much beer that we might not even have to put a down payment down.  In any case, it will be a blast, and a bigger one than last time.
When Jay/whojedi returns from whatever tropical paradise he's vacationing in, he should be able to give more details.
