Hello everybody!! Well, we know that September is the month that C3 tickets go on sale!! I am just wondering which site will have them, and for how much? I know that I have seen on here that they may be about $100, which I can understand, and well worth the money!!
Let's hear how many tickets your buying, and how many people your coming with!! It's time to get excited!!

Well, StarWarsCelebration.com just says "sometime in September." That could be tomorrow, or 4 weeks from now. Who knows. At least they are getting on it early.

I heard somewhere on the official site message boards that tickets would be availalbe for purchase at starwarsshop.com
We're coming with about 20 people.

I can't wait!!! I've already got my hotel room reserved ($70/night, one block away from the Convention Center!!!) and I'm going with my parents.

OMG I have been excited for this for the past year or so!  I am going with 3 of my best friends and one of my friends mom is going with us.We got our hotel rooms reserved at about $35 a night, split 5 ways! and its a block from the convention center

The good news is - Don't worry about tickets, they haven't sold out either year.
The bad news is - They haven't sold out either year because they just keep selling tickets even when the event halls are at capacity!
I have talked with Genicom folks about this, and they insist that Celebration II was not a sell out and that the halls were never at capacity. But, for those of us that were there on Saturday, we know the truth. They sold too many tickets, regardless of what maximum occupancy said!
So, don't worry about not getting a ticket. But, also don't think that getting your ticket in advance will make you special. It really only helps you get into the hotel blocks.

There you go... mgmcpa. There were too many people on Saturday. I had to flee the scene. I really, really hope that they give us a bigger venue this time.
As for the hotels... if you've already reserved a room somewhere else then you can always cancel when you get a room more to your liking. That's what I'm doing. Trying for a Hyatt room, but I've already secured a Crowne room.

So, if you've already got a room booked somewhere else (mines just a block away from the ICC) you can't get tix in advance?? I doubt I'll be able to find one for that price that's so close.

yes i have to agree last time saturday was to full
too many lines getting crossed
too many events filled at the times you wanted and were able to go even if you planned ahead

To resolve confusion on my hotel comment:
When you pre-buy the tickets, the only advantage is that you can also get a hotel reservation at the closest hotels to the RCA dome and at the reduced rates.
But, you can just pre-buy tickets without a reservation too.
Also, these main hotels (Hyatt, Marriott & Westin) all show they have no rooms available, so this is the only way to get rooms in these three hotels.
Question to those of you who stayed at the Hyatt last time, how did you like the location? I stayed at the Marriott and thought it was great, because it was located on the end of the convention center that the line up was on.

Do these hotels (that are located close to the convention) have websites? Does anyone have a plan of the area (with it's surroundings)?
