Also... I am wondering WHY they give out Codes for Hotels?

I tried to register between 8pm and 9pm last night (8pm is when the tkts went on sale in the UK.) But I have no patience so I went downstairs to watch a doc. about the black death, narrated by some bloke called Denis Lawson.....
Any, I got all my stuff when I got into work this morning no problem, so I am one happy bunny! Now I'm going to look at flights.

And how many people are you Expecting for C3?
Can you disclose how many people registered for Pass today alone?

I zipped right through the process and got my badge and cup topper with no problem today. The server was moving much faster, so you guys shouldn't have any registration issues today. 
No rooms at the Comfort Inn were available for check-in on Thursday-Saturday. You can check in Wednesday, however. I didn't look at the other hotels, because I previously had made a reservation at the Comfort Inn.

Actually, did any one have to enter their Hyperspace P/W or anything, I dont think I did, all I did was click yes on this 'are you a member' question. May be they will check them out later, I better get my privileges!

Damn the Comfort inn at 530 S. Capitol Ave. has these: Exercise Room, Free Contl. Breakfast, Hi Speed Internet, Indoor Pool, Whirlpool...
DAMN AWESOME INN 
BTW, I found a Cheap hotel for just $32 a night, 5 miles from the Center!!

What a diffrence 12 hours makes. I tried and tried yesterday to get my pass and never could get one. So I went to work thinking it can't get any worse at 8:00 a.m. An it was not. It took me all of 3 min to get my pass and Vader topper. As for the hotel I could care less. I booked mine last April and I'm happy with it.
As for what happened yesterday I hope GenCon can get ther act together by CIII. If they don't I see a lot of trouble for them and the fans. 
I would like everyone to remember the buying the pass was the first line of CIII

Where in the hell are the hotel rooms at? this is alot of bullcrap, I order my badge and it gives me a hotel 8 miles away. Give me a ----in break.

I just looked at the hotel page and for those of you that don't have a room yet your "SOL". A lot of the rooms are booked. And those hotel's that are open are for 1 night. So you can stay at one hotel for the night and move to diffrent hotel for the next night at. As far as I looked ther are no hotels left that run 4 or 5 nights in a row.

Thanks, Obi Anne, for the update.
I live in Canada and for me that's a big disappointment. With all the horror stories of CII, I'm unimpressed with being told I'm going to have to line up to pick up my pass rather than even having the *option* of paying extra shipping to have them sent to my home. But at least now I know.
Long shot-- but just for kicks, does anyone know if a fan club member can have the whole shebang sent to an address other than the one on their membership? :P
I may just ship it to my uncle in Texas, but not if they're going to deny me my family and friend passes.

How the hell do you buy 2 of the 4 day pass's? its only letting me do 1.

If you want multiple passes, you have to register at the GenCon website multiple times. There's a "Create Accounts to Buy Badges For Other People" link near the bottom of the "main menu" page.
