Okay. This is my first Celebration so it probably will not take a lot to make me happy. But, I will be happy if I get as many autographs as possible and get a lot of cool stuff with out maxing out my credit card!!!!
What about C3 do you want to make you happy? Also, if you went to previous celebrations, what were you dissappointed in??

This is my first BIG Con. I've been to "Shore Leave" (I think it was called). A very small Trek-centric con on the East Coast, a number of years ago. But I think the scale and SW focus will make it like I've never been to one before.
I want to see movie props and models up close. I saw they had a life size X-Wing at some con. Looks like they have almost 2/3rds more space than C2, so I'm hoping for some large set pieces and stuff like that.
How about getting your picture taken in a life sized Millenium Falcon cockpit?! The big Action figure box looked okay from C2, but I think it would be better to have some sort of a set for picture taking where several people could get in the picture all at once. You and your buds.
I'm not big on autographs. I don't need a piece of paper to prove to myself or someone else that I saw someone. I would however like to see panel discussions or even "Live Commentary" during viewings of any of the films.
I'd like there to be some Authors round tables. Specifically, Stackpole and Allston. My Faves.
I realize stuff will not be cheap, but I would like to be able to lay my hands on some collectibles and inspect them myself. I can always buy later online with the knowledge I get there.
I just can't see any way I won't have a good time outside of blisters on my feet or my bad back acting up. Just the atmosphere will be cool I think. I'm jacked up for this like I'm 9 years old again, not 36 :-)

My main motivation for going to C2 was getting autographs - I have about 50 different signatures from SW on some of my action figures. Having been to many sci-fi conventions in the past (mostly on Long Island, although I did drive to NJ to meet Ray Park), I had a preset attitude towards the rest of the con - it will be crowded, lots of lines, and expensive. That was it for me going in. I figured on a fun time, but a lot of stress too. But the people were awesome - all those SW fans (and a few of the actors too - Warwick Davis is the man) jammed into a small space, mostly waiting on line. While I did not come away with any permanent relationships, all those fantastic people made my C2 experience one I still cherish.
So . . . I will be happy at C3 if 1) I can get 20 signatures from people I do not have yet, 2) Warwick Davis is there again, and 3) if the people I meet there are even half as nice as the people I met at C2. Because lets face it - the professionals make it a Star Wars event - it is us, the fans, that make it a celebration.

I like you am looking to expand on my signature collection. By expand, of course, I mean start. I can't wait to be with other people who have the same hobby that I have. I hope to meet Ewan, Hayden, Natalie, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, Carrie Fisher, on and on and on. I would also love it if Harrison Ford were there! I doubt it, but it would be awesome!!

This will be my first Celebration also. There are a lot of Celebration virgins going, eh?? Anyway, like someone said above, there will be lines, crowds, and overpriced items. But I am going not only to get some autographs, but to meet all the new Star Wars fans I can! To me, just waiting in a line, talking SW, will be a treat for me! Celebration 3 is going to ROCK!

I'm not sure I like the term "celebration virgin"...
I don't really know why I'm going, no specific reasons, it just sounds like a good time... and I love star wars... so it should be good
