Can you say Mall?
Here wife, take my credi..oh, wait i'll be needing that.
Dammit, have to think of something else!
Why, yes I think it would be wonderful if you went to spend some time with your parents out of town. What's that? You'll be gone all weekend, I'm sure i'll manage.

Me and my fiancee will be compromising. I'm getting there Sunday morning and for those days up until Thurs, we will do major attractions like DisneyLand plus whatever else she wants to do like shopping/clubbing. I'm not going to force her to geek out with me but she will definitely be there for me while I geek out.

I've been kinda seeing someone who's not into Star Wars at all, but she thinks it would be a blast to go. So I guess we'll see. I'm not doing anything other then the con though.

Well dude, this is the first I've heard of this. Now we can totally geek out together. We'll stick the Pink Jedi and your mystery girl together while we hit the store. HAHAHA!

Yah...i'm kind of at a loss as to what to do w/ my b/f, we're heading out a few days early to do some stuff together, but he'll have 5 days on his own, and he's never been to LA, and sure doesn't know anyone there. I suppose i could introduce him to my ex who is living out there..hahahaha, over my dead body.
At least we're driving, so he'll have a vehicle.

So he's not into SW at all, eh? Well I think Spider-Man 3 and Pirates 3 will be opening while we're out at CIV. Maybe he can catch a movie on one of those nights. Or he could stay back at the hotel with bath oils, candles, and ready to give you a back massage to help you recover from all the long lines you've been through all day. That's what I'm doing for Pwinklespi. HAHA!

That sounds good to me. Does the pink Jedi know about your plans for him?

Nice! Now everyone thinks I would actually let you touch me. HAHAH!
I don't think the Pink Jedi would let you get to close grump. I'm making her spend every waking moment with me while we are out there. except my time at the store.

I asked my wife if she would like to go and she declined as she didn't want to waste vacation time on C-IV which she has zero interest in so she will be staying home, but I am sure she'll take the daughter somewhere that weekend probably the Jersey Shore. Anaheim and San Diego have lots to offer so the wives and children could spend time there.

I'm bringing my husband who has no real interest in Star Wars(he tries though so I'll give him some credit). I think he'll probably loose it waiting in those crazy lines but if I can get a couple of beers in him he'll be good to go . Since he's an avid golfer he'll be spending his time on the links while I enjoy C4. He did promise me that he would go on one of the days,so there's hope yet into making him a fan. Cool thing is since he's a firefighter he has mentioned he'd like to see the station they have out at Skywalker Ranch...I'm crossing my fingers on that!

That's a cool dream -- dunno if you could get in, though, and it's something like 400 miles from L.A.

I know a guy who's been there a few times and he said it's amazing. I've seen a few of the pictures and I couldn't believe it. He came back with all kinds of shirts and what not with the Skywalker Ranch logos on them. He owns an historic movie theater in Batlimore called the Senator. It's probably the best theater on the east coast and one of the top 15 in the country. I guess that's how he got invited.
