I think we need to remember that although this is completely inconvenient for us, and it seriously sucks and is horrible customer service,
its not 100% gen con's fault.
when the changeover with the insider happened through Lucas online, they messed up the fan club member registers. it's because of Lucas Online's disorganization and Gen Con is having to take all the heat.
So don't get too mad at Aleta and the Gen Con staff, they're trying to organize the mess that was handed to them by Lucas Online.
I mean, I'm not saying that Gen Con is organized, they certainly have illustrated otherwise, however the problems with fan club stuff and mail outs is not entirely their fault.

I really feel bad for the number of unhappy fans that are going to be there.
I'm trying really hard to realize that this is something that I have no control over and I'm trying to continually remind myself that I'm going to c4 to be with my friends at a star wars con, not to get upset over little stuff like waiting in line.
it's not working very well :P

Well, at least they responded. I feel much better now, but there is still hope (  ) that I will get my package in the mail. I notice they didn't say anything about my fan club lanyard. I hope I'll be receiving that too.

I'm so sorry for all you that haven't received your badges yet. I know how gut wrenching it is when everything pends on just one thing and it won't be off your mind 'til you have it settled. 
I'm still VERY surprised the itinerary is not ready!!!! 8 days left and no schedule? What is with that?

Update from me, I just got a call from Gencon and they said pretty much the same thing to me. They neglected to send my packet and said I should pick it up at Will Call. Oh well. I'm not thrilled about having to stand in a long line to get something I already prepaid for, but at least they are refunding me the $3 shipping cost.

That's a fair enough point to consider with the Fan Club issues, but missing say one of x number of day passes, or Store and FC stuff but no passes is purely a Gen Con issue and has nothing to do with the incomplete Hyperspace lists.

Yeah, true. The other thing is it sounds like they're missing a lot more badges and tickets than they are Fan Club lanyards. In my case, I paid months ago and they apparently forgot to send my packet out until now. Would it really have been that difficult to mail everything April 15th like they said they were going to?

I looked on the envelope that came with my pass, lanyard, etc. and it was postmarked May 10. This means they were mailing these out fairly late. *Shakes head.*

I knew having Gen Con as the promoter for C4 would be another organizational disaster, and Gen Con has yet to prove me wrong.
