GJ, you might want to see if you can locate one of those metal poster flip display racks that you see in art stores or print shops (like in a mall). That way you can safely frame all of your SW posters and display them in one area without having to worry about available wall space. I thought I had read somewhere online where a huge poster fan like yourself actually did this and loved it.

I'm not sure how much one of those flip display racks would cost, but it might be worth checking it out.

Grumpy, Jedi Justin had a great idea with that poster hanger thing. You could put it right on your living room wall and that way everyone could thumb through it. I put my posters in frames and put as many up as I could, but as you said earlier, which I am in unision with, you run out of room.

Not a bad idea. Not sure if those things really protect the posters though. When I see them in the stores they seem to ripple a little. Dunno.. worth looking into though. I have some pretty rare pieces that I'd be worried about. I keep them in tubes. Some I have professionaly framed. I've got the official Celebration posters from I, II, and III. I've got a very rare Turkish Empire poster and some others. In fact, I got the Star Wars poster book which is amazing. First read about that in the Insider. Don't wanna talk about this too much as the topic changing from Hyperspace to collecting... =)

I've never had to enter any code number to get into the Hyperspace stuff. All I enter is my SN and password, and I get right through.

Ok, my son joined the hyperspace but I didn't. We have purchased our C4 tickets. The bottom line, would you advise me also to join or will I be able to get into the members only things with his coupons? I'm confused.

That's what the "family and friends" coupons are supposed to be for, to get a family member in.

But do they have a 4 day pass? I thought you could only get a family member in if you had a 4 day pass along with the coupons or was that just the fan day?

People still need a badge to get into the con, the friend and family passes are to get into the fan club only events, like if they have a fan club member only showing of the one man star wars triolgy etc.

Does anybody know if Hyperspace Members get "Fastpath" entry into the convention center?

No, I haven't seen anywhere about there being 'fastpath' into the convention itself.

sw.com and hyperspace are coming across as rather disorganized.. (not that it's anything new...)

I logged in to check my subscription status, and even though I have over a year left it said I had nothing.

So I emailed them and they said "oops, sorry you got deleted"

On the bright side they gave me an extra free month of hyperspace/fan club

Well really from a international point of view its even worse
All for the same price we get just the online content and nothing else, to get the magazine subscription we have to pay a stupid amount for the year which we get a flimsy membership card, as for the magazine well I was reading write ups for C3 in september/octobers edition which to me reading up on a event 5-6 months later to me I dont think is good enough, I was reading my friends copy once of the hyperspace magazine you get in the US and I thought it was way better and more updated than the one you get here in the uk.
Well now we know your pain because the UK & US versions are now published by the same company. Plus Hyperspace is no longer ad-free as it used to be. So now for the first time in 11 years, I am actually considering letting my Insider subscription and Fan Club membership expire.

You might want to login to your registration.gencon.com account and verify your "Are you a member of the Star Wars Fan Club?" is still checked correctly. I logged in yesterday and it had been flipped to No for some reason so I switched it back to Yes.
