We plan on going probably Wed.
We want to get reserve tickets - front of the line type tickets?

I'll leave this one up because we have a Disneyland thread, perhaps people will be interested in getting together at Universal Studios. It's a lot closer than Disneyland to downtown L.A. Here's a link if you want to see about tickets, special or otherwise: Universal Studios Los Angeles.

Since the get together for both Disneyland and Universal is still up in the air, with no idea of who is going and when, it is going to be difficult to decide. Plus we don't know if LucasArts is going to be doing anything CIV related at Disneyland or elsewhere.

Looks pretty easy to get to on the train service.
Northbound from the convention center on the blue line then westbound on the red line.
If they are quick trains like the underground in london it would take about 45 mins to get there.

I'll probably be going to Universal Saturday or Sunday. *GASP* I know, I'm not going to con everyday. Right now I just don't for see that I will want to, and I am a theme park junkie so going to Universal Hollywood is a must (been to Orlando 4 times but not Hollywood). If I had more time I would go to Magic Mountain, but I don't think that will be feasible since I will be going to Knotts and Disneyland as well.

I'm going on the 22nd. I don't get in until the 21st. And Then we will be going to Disneyland on the 23rd. Glad to see someone else sees the potential with Knotts. I think it will be a great time. And since one of the other Cedar Fair parks is close to me (World's of Fun) I can get annual passes to all of the Cedar Fair parks for about $80.

A friend isn't coming to Celebration for other reasons not needed to be explained here, So I´ve go a VIP Experience pass for Universal Studios for sale. Just cheaper than the real price nowadays.

Be sure to go straight to the processing place as soon as you get in for yer 2007 Annual Pass. They gotta take yer pic etc. When I was there last month the line was really long so I left it to later in the day and it was even longer. Unless of course you've already been and done it.
