Comfort Inn Info?

I'm planning on staying at the Comfort Inn on 7th St., but now I'm getting conflicting information re: location, facilities, etc. Does anyone have any details about it, because if I have to change hotels, I'd better do it pretty soon. Thanks very much.

I wouldn't stay there, myself. Don't like the location, and the reviews I've read don't make it sound very nice.

I'm staying there cuz I'm only paying $72 per night, divided by four people (more money for buying stuff and for Disneyland and watching "Pirates 3"). I just need a place to sleep and shower. I plan to be out all day and night anyway!

i am at the Quality Inn (not very nice but cheap !)
I remember last year when I have benn at LA, 7th street is not so far from the convention center i think !

I just came from LA and visited the Comfort Inn to see how good or bad it is. They just made some improvements and renovations and added a pool. The downstairs breakfast area is nice and the rooms are CLEAN! Besides the pool, they added another building as well as balconies for the rooms. To get to the convention center, make a right from the parking lot. The next street is Union. Make a right, go down about 6 blocks and make a right on Pico. The convention is right there. If anyone wants pics, PM me.

I'm going to be staying there as well. I've read some bad, some OK and some good reviews, but most of the bad reviews were dated in 2004 so I'm sure they've improved since then.
If we have enough people staying there, maybe we could all get together one night and just hang out
OR
Maybe even share a taxi / cab, etc. to split costs, etc.?
Just an idea ...
