I arrive on the 22 with a mate from near Sydney. We both fly to New Zeland and meet up there. I fly out from Tasmania that morning. Gonna be a long flight. I'll get in as much sleep as I can while in the air.

No, they would be talking about the C4 shuttles that go from the hotels to the con centre.

Well with hundreds of SW fans walking around probably at all hrs ,it will most likely be safe, don't ya think?
BTW , How far is it to LAX from the hotel?

The H.I. is across the street and a block down from the convention center. You will be walking along a major thoroughfare of downtown L.A. -- Figueroa Street. There is traffic all the time. You will be fine.
And LAX is 17 miles from the convention center. But that's as the crow flies... because your car definitely won't be .

There is a chance that a buddy that lives in LA will pick me up from the air port,if not I will ride athe shuttle bus to the HI.

A Holiday Inn get together sounds great! However, we'll probably need to wait until we have a little more of an idea of the schedule before we set the day and time. How many of us plan on going to the SW movie marathon? I'm in!
