Arriving the 22nd - 31st (some extra time for LA)
meeting some friends from 'across the pond' (England)
Grog_S - Those could B tough autos. to get, 2 U a commendation 4 your efforts though, U R a very dedicated 'Star Woid'. Have read that Hayden was at C2(Indy) but disguised as a 501st member (stormtrooper) so you never know (even if they R not announced)
woppo - R U w/ the 501st? No worries, I would imagine 'Vader's Fist' as well as the other costuming groups will B very well represented, Big Photo-Op planned?

All Hayden had on was a helmet,I actually walked by not knowing it was him and said " so you couldn't afford the whole costume huh" he just nodded.LOL

Yes Im with the 501st, there will be heaps of chances to get pics with all sorts of bad guys and of course the rebel scum

woppo - Do you know if there are any plans yet for all of the members of the 501st that are present to be in one picture (like as done previously in Indy)
I remember getting some pics of T.Daniels w/ the whole gang on the steps of the Palpatine Center for Advanced Learning (LOL!)

They are trying to coordinate that, but last I heard it hadn't been absolutely confirmed. That was a couple of days ago, though. They may have finalized plans by now. They just haven't shared the info yet.

BAD NEWS HOLIDAY INN PEOPLE:
I CALLED THE HOTEL TO CONFIRM MY RESERVATION THIS EVENING AND I ASKED ABOUT THE FREE SHUTTLE.
IT TURNS OUT THAT THE FREE SHUTTLE THEY USUALLY OFFER ....WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.... TO US. THE FRONT DESK CLERK SAID THAT THE HOTEL DECIDED NOT TO OFFER IT ANYMORE FOR CONVENTIONS IN GENERAL, IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO GUEST NOT ATTENDING THE CONVENTION. THIS IS TERRIBLE BECAUSE I WAS UNDER THE ASUMPTION THAT WE COULD ALL GET TO A GROCERY STORE NOW. WELL, IT TURNS OUT THERE IS A SHELL GAS STATION WITH A MINI-MART, ONE BLOCK AWAY, FROM THE HOTEL. THEY OFFER MILK, JUICE POP AND SMALL ITEMS LIKE CHIP AND DIP, THINGS LIKE THAT.
THIS IS FRUSTRATING...BUT HEY WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THESE SETBACKS. ALSO, THE REFRIGERATORS ARE $5.00 A NIGHT AND ARE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. MOST HOTELS OFFER A REFRIGERATOR FOR FREE, BUT NOT THE HOLIDAY INN.
I GUESS NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS, HERE!!!

I plan on walking since its only like 2 bloocks away and you can see the hotel from the doorstep of the center. Im using the shuttle to get to the hotel from the airport and nothing else. If I ant in the convention center then im at the hotel.

Echo-is the shuttle free from airport to hotel???
I know i wont need the shuttle to the con if its ONLY 2 blocks away-lol.i will be walking enough at the con anyways-2 blocks wont hurt anymore.Im sure if groceries were needed for ppl,there is lots of help to carry stuff from friendly fans that dont mid a chat and a walk-Im here if ya need help Amidala

I asked about this one myself when I booked the hotel last year but they told me they dont but can put me in contact with shuttle services at LAX. I actually booked mine with primetime shuttle online as it was only $15 return.
