I know i wont need the shuttle to the con if its ONLY 2 blocks away-lol.i will be walking enough at the con anyways-2 blocks wont hurt anymore.Im sure if groceries were needed for ppl,there is lots of help to carry stuff from friendly fans that dont mid a chat and a walk-Im here if ya need help Amidala

The Holiday Inn is actually less than a block away from the Con center. Of course, if the doors to get in to C-V are on the other side of the center then it will be more than a 1/2 block walk. I've driven by it numberous times the last few months, but never gotten out and walked around it. That would be more of a reality check.

Hi Cap'n, the Holiday Inn is on 111th Street across from the Staples Center. If the entrance is to the south, it'll be a long walk.

You walk out of the front entrance of the hotel, look to your left, and it's there . You are across the street from all the L.A. Live construction. The person who took that first photo is standing at the corner of Figueroa and 12th Drive. The convention center is behind him and to the left.

I think Skin has a good idea. A wednesday night get together seems best, that way we are not all out of sorts from days and days of Star Wars lines. Plus, there are no events other than the Movie Marathon.

Hopefully we will be able to leave by other doors like C3. At least then the trip back to the storage...er......ummm I mean hotel will be a nice short walk.

glennfett - Myself, I'm from Canada Eh! (The Great White North) LOL! - That is a big misconception, only in the winter and the past couple have been quite green
I'm meeting up w/ 2 friends from 'across the pond' (London)
If it's going to happen, Wednesday the 23rd sounds like the best opportunity to meet-up (before the Chaos begins!)
