So, I don't know if this question ever got answered or not, but will there be power for laptops/printers there? ANd how about wifi? We could set some of this stuff up online, let people sign up for newsletters immediately, put a pin in a frappr map, etc... And I think I mentioned this before, but I'll have a definite answer within a couple weeks about appropriating some funds from the HotA fund for this...

No free wifi, and we do NOT have the funds to rent it.
We're still looking for monitary donations for hand outs and the banner. Also we need pictures and flyers to hand out there. I will make up some regional ones and a flip book for the table too.

At past celebrations, we've done 2 hour shifts. I'd expect the same thing this time.
Edit: Actually C3 was 1 hour shifts. At C2 we did 2 hours.

Probably 1 hour shifts again. You can sign up for just one, several through out the con, or a larger block of time. Doesn't matter to me as long as you show up when promised or at least find someone to swap you shifts.

You read it right. Anyone who donates toward the FF banner fund will get VIPship the same as the table volunteers. Our thoughts were, not everyone can make it out to LA to help promote our organization, this gives everyone a chance at helping FanForce and earning colors for a week or two. If two people donate together, they will both get VIPship. Write in the "notes" section of the PayPal the screen names of those who are donating and we'll fix you up after the con

Trust me you're not dumb, I'm having to sign into PayPal to figure this out directly myself
*Click in the "Send Money" tab
*In the "To:" field enter the email address you're sending the money to and the amount underneath. This would fall under "Service/Other." Then hit "Continue"
*Next page lets you write a message, that's where you'd put your user name. Then hit send.
