The $25 covers cost for the room AND the food.
Yes, there will be music for dancing AND a dance floor. Shawn Crosby has agreed to be out DJ for the evening (something he does in his spare time when he's NOT making SW cars), and he has the most awesome collection of music I've seen; a little bit of something for EVERYONE.
I'm not sure at what time, but the Rebel Legion awards will be taking place sometime in the evening. Non-RL people are welcome to stay; we just ask that you be courteous and applaud for the winners and stuff. 
We're holding it so early because the Fan Film awards are later that evening, so people can leave early to go to both.

I asked about children, and the planners said that they sadly would have to charge for children too. 
Although, it probably would be boring for kids, plus there will be alcohol served.
