CIV - Anyone Need a hotel room?
I have an extra! It's at the Wilshire (about 7 blocks from the Con center).
The rate is $179.00 a night. Check-in is May 23rd and Checking-out May 29th.
If you want it PM me and we can put the room in your name.
I really need to transfer this out of my name - I cannot cancel it at this point! If I do I will have to pay 1 night and a half ($268.50)as a penalty! I can transfer it at no charge, but cannot cancel!
Please help!

We got 1st hotel room for $75.00 at the Mayfair. Mayfair got word about C4 a few minutes after I got my first room. When I called back less than a hour, they went up 3 times the price. I threw a fit, but no good. So I had to get rest of the 4 rooms a lot higher price. But when the convention came out with the hotel list. It was $170.00. George making money on the dang rooms also. I would cancel and get closer and nicer for less. But dang. I will lose like $220.00 in cancelation fees.

I want to change my flight to leave Monday instead of Sunday but the airline wants $140 bucks in penalties If it wasn't so high , I would defiantly stay was one of you guys on Sunday.

Hey guys! I'm in big trouble. I've been so busy lately I didn't get a chance to order my badges before april 30!! I called the GenCon hotline and left a message to see if I can still reserve some badges for will call or something but I'm still waiting to hear. I feel confident that somehow I will be able to acquire the badges but in the mean time I have no place to stay! Does anyone know how I can go about getting badges (adult-all days)? I was at CIII and it was the time of my life and I desperately want to go to C4. If anyone knows of anything I can do to get there I will greatly appreciate it. If I can get badges then I will def take your hotel room for you. Please PM me or reply here if anyone can help this lost nerfherder find his way home to CIV! Thanks a million!

I'm in the same boat. Nephew's boss wouldn't give him the time off. Another roomie is military and was informed they were posted this summer. If that isn't bad enough (we were down to five at this point), the girl friend of a third went for broke on their finances (gambling habit) and THEN two weeks ago , a fourth suddenly annouced she was moving over to the Sheraton to stay with other friends (too late to cancel our room without a serious penalty fee) and hoped we wouldn't mind too much!!! Go figure. She says she doesn't think we'll have any problem filling the space---think again.
Anyway, we're at the Marriott and have room for 3-4 bodies. We're arriving morning 23 May and dep morning 28 May. Desperate!!!
