Anyone staying at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel?

I know this hotel isn't on the list, but I got a free room, so I had to stay here. Some friends and I are staying here and I was wondering if anyone else is. Would love to have other Star Wars fans in the building.

Darn, I just switched my hotel to the downtown Marriott to be closer to the con. Was going to stay at the RHH. It looks really nice and is adjacent to the Kodak theater where they have the Oscars. You'll also be just steps aways from Grauman's Chinese Theater* and the Walk of Fame.
And way to go on the free room- you can't beat that.
* ever hear the story of George Lucas eating a meal across the street from the Chinese the day Star Wars opened? He was worried that it might not do well and so exhausted from working so hard on it that he was amazed to see the line around the block was for his movie. Might be worth asking a local if they know where that restaurant might have been so you can reenact it 30 years later.

You're talking about the Hamburger Hamlet. Unfortunately it closed a month or so ago  . I have eaten there many times, it was a real institution. And it won't even have a new restaurant in its place, I understand it's going to be replaced by a clothing store.
