Master Replicas just announced that they would not be at C4. However, they did day their C4 exclusives would be available through their website - so if they are npt going to be at C4, then how could they call them C4 exclusives. As for me, I am boycotting MR.

Its funny how childish MR is being...now they wont come to c4 due to their contract not being renewed with Lucas, there only hurting themselves by not showing so good riddens.

I wonder who will be taking over the props collection licensing production?
I think they have been dropped by lucasfilm probably because of not being able to meet deadlines or have good quality control on their items. I always read nightmare stories of people getting imperfections in their items or just botched stuff. Maybe it's the carelessness that finally caught up with them and lucas just pulled their contracts. I can't see MR wanting to pull out of a major label like Star Wars. That's gotta be one of their main bread and butter revenues. Though I'm sure licensing costs are outrageous.

What a bunch of zarking babies.
So has there been anything in the rumor-mill about who is going to pick up making prop replicas? Maybe Lucas will allow a free for all as long as he gets a cut?
All i know is I'll be at work perusing e-bay today looking for cheap deals on a saber or two before things start to rise in price.
Then again, they did make about eleventy billion of them so maybe we wont even see the price rise past MSRP.

You might be right there as alot of products seem to be pretty delayed by master replicas which could be down to their practices in china and possibly lucasfilm layed out the cards and offered them a more strict contract with less money involved.

MR was always a very, very distant third for me behind Gentle Giant and Sideshow Toys when it came to SW merchandise. Aside from their 1:1 scale lightsaber hilts, none of their product line really interested me (or made me convince myself that they were worth the extremely expensive price tag).
Not a big loss to me.

I thought the exclusives were stupid anyway. A wedge helmet and the Yavin medal? They could have done better than that.

Same here ... I have pretty decent MR scaled light saber collection and I bought the majority of them off of ebay alot cheaper than I could have at any of the stores or their website.

Yeah I bought the Anakin AOTC Force FX saber at C2 and they didn't even start shipping until October when it initially was supposed to be July. They started off on the wrong foot with me and that's why it is the only thing I ever bought, and even then I cancelled my order from them and bought it cheaper on ebay. I will probably do the same when the Mara Jade hilt comes out later this year.
