I would have volunteered had I known the schedule earlier. That' what I've been waiting for. I'll be d&mned if I sacrifice my time for mising an event I wanted to see for a few hours of free labor.

It's a bit too late to volunteer now. 6 days away and still no COMPLETE schedule out. sad.

It is never too late to volunteer. I believe if you check in with the volunteer HQ at the con, they can get you all hooked up even at the convention.

They really need people! Any help would most likely be appreciated. happy

If they REALLY needed people, they wouldn't be dragging out the schedule unveiling for three days. It's insulting more than it is dramatic.

I won't be in Los Angeles on May 23 but they're still not releasing the 25th-28th schedule 8 days before Celebration IV?

Once again - the C3 event list was released on SW.com 6 days before the con. The same will be done for CIV - 6 days prior.

Having worked with GenCon and Lucasfilm to get an event scheduled and planned, I don't think this is a case where they are trying to be dramatic so much as the schedule really isn't finalized. Not that being so unorganized is a good thing...

I know of at least one fan panel that was finalized Wednesday afternoon and then released on the schedule that night. As bad as it may be, they truly seem to need that extra 24 hours to get things finalized.

Anyways, we can't change it. As pointed out, this is the way they do it. All we can do is try to make the best of it now we we are getting the schedule. cool
