I was just about to comment about how terrible the layout of these PDFs are. Theyre designed for 11x17 paper, but who the heck has a printer that can print 11x17? I'm trying to scale it every which way I can but can't seem to get it to print properly.
You'd think they'd know how to create a proper PDF. This is just pathetic.
edit: after another look, its not even 11x17 thats an issue. They just spread it out over 2 pages, expecting us to tape them end to end or something. They couldn't format it any other way? I hope they have schedules on site that are laid out better than this because this is shameful.

I have a coworker working on it now for me.
I will only be at the con for about 2 days, so I'm OK with the schedule. The layout sucks and it shouldn't take this long to get out. It's been a year. The con is 5 days away. Nothing like giving us a little time to plan. Because there wasn't any set schedule I planned a bunch of other stuff to do in LA. So, Thursday, Friday morning and possibly a few hours on Monday are my con time.
I am excited to see Seth McFarlane though.
Victory is mine!

I didn't notice the Seth Mcfarlene panel (Family Guy) or the Seth Green (Robot Chicken) panel on the schedules. Did I miss something?

My guess is that this is the (equivalent of?) "Celebration at Celebration" party like at C3. Maybe that'll be another thing we find out about today.

Is there any way to make the schedule a little more readable? When I open them in acrobat and print them the text is small as hell.
Anyone know how to fix this? Meaning, anyone know how to zoom in on the text so that its easier to read when I print it out?

I was thinking the same thing. I poured over all the info on sw.com and found nothing. Perhaps we should all just cram into a lobby somewhere and party.

^ This is the kind of thing that we knew about well beforehand at C3. Something tells me this time around will be chock full of last minute announcements, changes, and who knows - maybe even a panel that won't even be printed in the schedule a la the Rick McCallum Spectacular @ C2.

I'm in favor of doing that regardless. I thought that was the whole point of a convention. Every night should be a party there.

By popular demand, I've re-formatted the schedule into Excel. I haven't actually tried printing it out yet due to being out of black ink today, but you should be able to print it to scale on 1 page. I've also included the PDF's for each day which are scaled to 1 page.
Everyone is free to use or modify it for their own purposes. I take no responsibility for typos or inaccurate information. I've tried to be as accurate as possible according to the current schedule. Keep in mind that GenCon could change the schedule before the convention, so please verify the time slots of the sessions you are interested in when you get there.

You're welcome. I'll probably comb through it a little more tonight and tomorrow to double check the times against the detail schedules (bts, concourse, cstage, fanfair, fanhall, and petree). There may be one or two empty slots that are colored (10am sat in the Celebration Theater as an example). These slots were shaded on the official PDF's and left blank. I left one or two of them as I was starting the spreadsheet, but then ended up filtering out the others. If anyone notices any inaccurate information, please PM me, and I'll update the spreadsheet.
