Does anyone know if the Gary Kurtz-produced 5-25-77 will have any presence at C4? Their website is as uninformative as usual, but there are threads on IMDb that suggest that it may be screened at Celebration.

Haven't seen anything. We'll know when the final schedule comes out Friday, just take a look at that when it comes out.

First things first ….
What is "5-25-77" ?
Well any STAR WARS fan knows that is the opening day of Star wars! And Now it is also a movie.
“5-25-77” WILL be showing at C4 on Friday May 25th at 4:30pm. ( as soon as I get details as to what hall I will let you know) I HIGHLY recommend you go see it! If you didn’t notice, that day will be 5-25-07 the 30th anniversary of Star Wars!
This was a test screening, so there were temp sound, temp special effects, and temp edits But was VERY entertaining and fun to watch.
The film is based on the Directors life, Patrick Read Johnson, (He has made films such as Angus, Dragonheart, and Spaced Invaders) and shows his younger years making small home movies and his dream to become a Hollywood film maker, his relationships with friends, pears and people in the industry. I can tell you that if you ever felt like you were alone in liking something and being passionate about it regardless of what others thought …… You’ll love this film! You’ll see references to several other movies, such as Silent Running, 2001, Star Wars, Jaws to name a few, not to mention other big Hollywood names such as Lucas, Steven Spielberg, ILM, Orson Wells, Jack Benny and many more are mentioned! It stars Patrick Johnson, Austin Pendelton (Short Circuit), John Francis Daily (Freeks and Geeks) As well as being Produced by Gary Kurtz! Yes From Star Wars fame."

Thanks so much, VK! I'm definitely going to try and make it if there is a showing. Now I'm just hoping to be able to figure out how to go to a two-hour movie and still make the (7pm?) opening ceremonies. Anxiously awaiting the official schedule.

The screening of 5-25-77 takes place at 4:30pm-- The film is, as of today, 2 hours long (give or take a few minutes for credits)
This will give you time to watch it, say hi to some of the cast and crew, and still make the 7pm opening ceremony.
Trust me-- I want to be at that ceremony too!

I'm really looking forward to this.
Question. The "Fanboys" panel is right before the "5-25-77" screening. If we are at the "Fanboys" panel do we have to leave and get in line again or can we keep our seats?

They don't usually make you get up and leave unless there is a huge line outside that wants into the room. You might have to be prepared for that. Otherwise, if there's lots of space, you're good to go.

I'll be there, wearing my homemade 5-25-77 shirt!!! (No it's not blue with yellow letters, it's much cooler than that, you will have to see. Then again the LAFF-ers who went bowling already saw it.)
This is so awesome.
I hope I can get to see both Fanboys and 5-25-77, but I've been looking forward to 5-25-77 more, and if forced to choose I'll just see that.
This is AWESOME. I'm so happy for everyone who made the movie...getting the actual premiere at C-IV on the 30th anniversary...of 5-25-77.
