Does anyone know for sure where we will be lining up to enter the convention center? Is it at the main entrance?

Nien, HAVE SOMEONE WITH YOU. Stick to the shuttles, don't venture off alone. This part of LA isn't as bad as others, but like any major city, it's not free from scariness. We've wandered all over the area at night before (god bless that Dennys), but we were in like a group of 10 people. So just have a buddy or two and you should be good.

Was just gonna post what Miana said....
There will be lots of people on the streets around the convention center. But the shuttle is always the way to go -- 'specially if you're going to the store and will be carrying a lot of stuff back to your hotel!

Where did that pic come from? It looks like a model. Is it a model? Where did you get it? How much?
That car is one of may favorites. If that's a model I need to know where I can get one.

I made the Batmobile out of Sculpey, Bondo, and an old Chevy convertible.
..Just kidding. It's not my car.
I'm so excited, I can't concentrate at work. All I can think about is where the heck am I going to eat lunch during the Convention. FYI, Denny's on Figueroa is being remodeled. It's scheduled to reopen on Saturday.

I wanted so much to go to CIII and couldn't, and now seeing those banners and knowing I'm actually going to be there in a couple of days - well, the fangirl reaction is kicking in.  Thanks for all the information and the pictures! It's really nice to have such a good idea of what to expect.
