Anyone had any problems connecting?
I'm arriving in the morning, staying at the Sheraton, should I bother bringing ethernet cable/card, or has wi-fi been pretty much available everywhere? At the LACC, too?
Thanks!

The LACC has WI FI. I'd bring the cable for your hotel, just to be safe.

I always bring a cable. Targus makes a nice reel-up ethernet cable that can adapt to regular phone-line use if one is forced to go to dial-up access. You never can tell what they mean by 'hi-speed' access until you get there.

ouch 8 bucks a day.
You think that by now hotels would just offer internet as part of the room fee.
They did the same thing eventually with cable in the rooms.
Glad I have my internet through my pda phone.
I use it on the train and when I am away from home

Some hotels offer high speed as a perk, and some do not. There is a public library in the area, but that's limited hours. It's all up to what you want to pay for. My web acccess on my phone is crappy and slow and there's no way I can cope with that.

According to what it said on C4 Housing, it did. I think it was no charge, but don't quote me.

The Sheraton has a business center in which you swipe a credit card and pay per minute of usage.

The Sheraton also has internet available in the room wirelessly and wired. I'm using it now and it's plenty fast.

It is too bad. Like you said the other night $13/day is pretty expensive, but I'm using the connection for free, so I don't feel the sting.

My hotel said they charged for internet, but when I plugged in and followed their directions, I never did get a webpage where I had to enter my credit card or anything like they said I would have to. I'm not gonna complain about free access. There were also several wireless networks close enough for me to pick up signal, but I got more bandwidth from the ethernet connection. The wireless wasn't that close/strong.

We left the Sheraton yesterday, and I ended up paying 12.95 a day for internet (wireless).
The signal was good, but wow, I really hated paying that 12.95 a day for 3 days!
I was able to keep up with the forums, so that was nice. My laptop is pretty bad, so uploading pix to my blog was a pain (http://www.marthalovesstarwars.blogspot.com). I'm going to update it today now that I'm back home on a desktop.

Rodeway Inn has free wifi. Connection has been pretty good the whole time we've been here.
