Tonights G4 TV Star Wars at 30 Special!

Not sure if alot of the people will get a chance to see this but there was some great stuff on the the G4 Star Wars at 30 Special. There was great live interviews with Peter Mayhew, The Fetts (Jeremy Bulloch, Daniel Logan, Temuerra Morrison may have spelled his name wrong), Ray Park, Steve Sansweet and one of the hosts Olivia Munn in the Gold Bikini!

Yeah, it was good. The live interviews were great. They also interviewed Anthony Daniels.

Painful, that's what this show was. I felt the brain cells being suck out of my head... and the hosts??? God awful! The only saving grace were the interviews with Daniels, the Fett family, and Peter Mayhew, otherwise a complete waste of time.
Oh, and considering this is a show celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars, and there's a strong likelihood that kids will be watching... G4 may want to ask their hosts just for the two hours to drop the sexual innuendo and the copious uses of the word "ass"... oh and if I saw one more advertisement for "Code Monkeys" I thought I might rip my eyeballs out.
Just horrible TV.

Why is 2007 beginning to seem like the death of Star Wars? Seriously. It feels like it's 1985 all over again. The toy lines are fizzling out, fans are beginning to get sick of shelling out their money for more crap that they don't need, and shows like this make it embarassing to be a fan.
I say, bring it on. With the way that Star Wars has become a damn cash dispenser for LFL over the past ten years since the relaunch of the figures and the release of the SE's, I LONG for the days when I felt like I was the only one still caring about the trilogy. When I had to hit flea markets or garage sales if I wanted to find an old Star Wars treasure from my youth. Man... I may sound old, but those were the days.
Shows like this and the one that was on after it (X-Play, I think?) show me that the end is near. Kind of sad that I can't wait.

I'm watching it now and i'm already disappointed, why couldn't they trouble themselves to take some footage at C4 instead of using old stuff from C3?? That's kind of a bummer, there were plenty of people walking around on Thursday that they could have gotten footage of for filler. I was hoping there would be more LACC footage, it would have been a nice thing to save. Oh well, can't win them all  !

To say that it sucks that I didn't see Olivia in her Slave-Leia costume is an understandment of galactic proportions.
