At Celebration II, they took orders for items they sold out of on-site. I never went to the store at CIII because I had a friend who had an associates badge and was able to get in the night before the con opened.

I didn't think the lines were too bad. Some were long, but they were handled pretty well, I think.

Ditto on the shirts. They need to work on making them more unisex. I saw the
Leia tank-top, but didn't like it much. I really wanted something as a momento,
so I looked at the XS CIV tee and saw that it still looked big but got it anyway, hoping that future trips to the washer will shrink it. Did they not think that girls would buy a CIV tee and so only tailored them to men?

The line for the later Family Guy presentation on Saturday was the longest line I had ever seen. It took like 5 minutes to walk to the end of it.
That's the one I saw then went and sat inside as the hall was much bigger than the line was. Didn't have to wait outside, I just joined the end of the line and there was still plenty of seats left.

You sure you went to the right convention? There were plenty pears of both sexes...

Maybe they were hoping more women would arrive in Slave Leia garb. Or they were hoping to sell metal bikini tops at CIV but the shipment got delayed.

The lines were great. The only time I had to wait was for a comic signing Saturday that took about an hour. The reason was the artist decided she would do a sketch for every single person who wanted one, which does take time. She was usually backlogged 5 people while the other guy was signing and chatting with people. I was about 4 from the front when she stopped doing sketches and I never got to get to her booth to get one.

The clothing sizes asi ran odd. The smaller sizes were large, and larger sizes were small. I've seen XL shirts bigger than the 3XL's they sold.

It wasn't like there weren't plenty of ladies to sell such shirts to. I really liked that they had the Leia baby-doll t-shirt at CIII. The problem with the tank top from C4 is that the iron-on does not stretch to the same extent as the ribbed knit, so if you are between sizes, it really doesn't work out that well. You get the bigger size, and the shirt's falling off. You get the smaller size, and the iron-on doesn't lay flat over the chest.
But that would about my only complaint about the store. Since I know how to sew, I can fix up t-shirts to fit and flatter better, but my point is that if I am paying $20 for a t-shirt, I shouldn't have to. I can get t-shirts that fit and flatter at Wal-Mart for $10 or less.

They have to do it. I never had a problem getting back around and getting back in if my next event was in the same hall.
I was shut out of collecting panels for two days because they were NOT making people leave after each show there. THAT was a mistake. I must have seen 100 people or more that wanted to attend some collecting panels be told that the roomm was full and they just moved on. Plus the fact that the collecting panel room was so small were a problem.

We spent less time standing on line for our ENTIRE CIV trip than we did just waiting to get into the store at C3 on day 1. We were lucky enough to have been at or very close to the front of every line we stood in, especially the autograph lines for Fisher and Daniels. The Quick Path store reservation was great, and the pre-orders for GG and Sideshow made picking up our exclusives a breeze. The only line that we stood on for some time was the Hasbro booth line.
All in all, we did very little "line standing" at CIV, from autograph lines to panels to vendor booths.

I showed up Thursday at 10:45. I was in the buildign at 12:02. I got my Gentle Giant exclusives, Sideshow exclusives, Hasbro exclusive and CIV store exclusives all within 3 hours. Plus I walked around adn took pictures within that time as well.
I was run very well this year. I actually think it might have been a little too big of a facility.
