I also saw the show twice - once on Thursday and then again on Sunday. Plus my 13 year old saw it a third time.
Loved it. I couldn't stop laughing and we were still giggling when we left the theater. I think my favorite parts (there are so many) were Jabba, the X-wing chairs and the way Luke and Palpatine were cracking up near the end of the play. My kid loved the Tie fighter squares and Yoda. 
Kudos to you all for bringing this to us and keeping up the energy over that long, long weekend. It was one of the highlights of CIV.

I saw both the one-man show and "in 30 minutes" crew on stage performing samples at the opening ceremonies. I really didn't laugh much, so I was glad to have gotten a taste of the acts before deciding not to go to either. I'm sure it had funny parts, but their sample show didn't sell it for me.
What they did at the opening was nothing like what they do in the actual show (sorry guys, the Opening Ceremonies stuff wasn't that good  ). The full show however--there is no better way to spend 30 minutes at a Celebration

I give "SW in 30 Minutes" lots of props, but there is no way it beats out Charlie Ross' "One Man SW Trilogy" in my opinion. His act is much more enjoyable and impressive, given his solo performing ability.
My vote goes to "One Man SW Trilogy" as the best show of CIV.

Well, start a "One Man Trilogy" thread then. Let's not get a 'which show is better' argument going here I appreciate what Charlie Ross does, but SW in 30 Minutes has more laughs packed into it. They are both good shows devoted to what we love-Star Wars

At some point, we will be doing the prequels, especially as when we went to Skywalker Ranch to do the show for George, he said we were going to have to do it. And we really don't want to disappoint him or his lovely beard.
Thanks again for your kind comments about the show, folks. You all made CIV an absolutely brilliant experience for all of us. We hope to see you all again soon.

Ummm, no, there is no need to start a new thread. Gonna be loads of "XYZ was the best show at CIV" threads. I'm simply stating my differing opinion on the title of this thread. The point was not to try and compare which show was better - I was simply stating why I did not feel that "SW in 30 Minutes" was the best show at CIV and giving a reason. Both shows are great in their own respective ways.
We are allowed to post our opinions here, right?

Yes, you're allowed to give your opinions. No problem with doing that. If I happen to disagree with your assessment, so what? I just need people to stay civil to each other. I'm just glad that both shows were at C-IV, so that more people could be exposed to them, because they are both wonderful.
