This was my second celebration and I had an amazing time. Completely memorable, replaced all the bad c3 memories with awesome c4 ones. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Now, all I need to do is catch up on my missing sleep and I'll be great happy

I thought it was very well organized in comparison to c3 and I actually felt like I was on vacation the whole time happy

The collecting track was great. I got a jaw dropping gift like ValedaKor's and all because I was doing something I loved! I networked with other collectors and met some really wonderful people.
Celebration is all what you make of it. And, for my part, I had a fantastic time! happy

This was my first Celebration and I'm really glad I went! Met some interesting people while standing in line; everyone had some interesting stories that I met. Finally got to meet the celeberties that I wanted to meet and get autographs from which was pretty awesome as well.

I had a great experience taking pics with the costumed fans, and I didn't realize how friendly everyone was about taking those pics. Everyone was very fun to be around and I felt at home. happy

I can't wait for C5, as in C4 I only got 2 days out of the con, but I will definitely plan to attend the full days of the celebration next time! happy Thanks for making C4 such a great exerpience LA!

I had a ton of fun. Maybe not as much fun as Celebration III, but definitely as fun or more fun than Celebration II. Los Angeles isn't a great town for such a convention (although the convention center was great.)

The only real complaint that will stay with me is the fact that the Concourse Hall had disco music in it 24/7. I don't know if that was Jay Lagaia's choice or GenCon's, but either way, it was a horrible mistake. We are at a Star Wars convention here people, not a 1970's convention. Just becuase it is a 30 year anniversary and the movie came out in 77', doesn't mean I want to hear music from 77'. I want to hear Star Wars music. I want to be pumped as I walk in the hall after waiting in line and sit down to the asteroid theme from Empire Strikes Back as I wait for the show to begin, not wave my hands to the YMCA.

If it was Jay Lagaia's decision I really hope he realizes his mistake and fixes it at the next Celebration. At Celebration III I was dissapointed when I read his name as the host rather than Anthony Daniels, but after seeing him I thought he was great and couldn't be more happy. But that disco.. I can't get over it. Not that I hate disco, I like alot of that music and it's great at parties, just not at a Star Wars convention.

Like always, I cannot wait for the next Celebration, and hope it is 2 years again rather than 3.

Also, another complaint that is somewhat similar to the above post. The party on Saturday night absolutely stunk. At Celebration III the party was absolutely amazing with games, exclusive shirts, more fans, better band, and once again... STAR WARS music, not Eminem. I'd much rather have paid $15 like last time to enter the party and it have had tons of different games and things to do with more food/drinks and better band.

The only reason I post complaints is becuase everything is always so fun at these things that it would take days to write about them all. Rather than just post a few things that could have been better for next time. I can't believe how much fun I have every time just walking around the exhibit halls and talking to random people and just being around fans that are instantly your friends.

Re: Celebrate.... and this is a statement I never thought I'd ever make, but I thought it was great. Could've done with some better music, but still, great. A few more SW related songs would've been my own personal preference.
Prior to Saturday night, I'd gone to only one occasion where there was dancing... my high school prom years ago, and I didn't go near the dance floor that night. Its never held any appeal for me... the whole dancing loud music thing.
However, on Saturday night, I'd gone anyway after Carrie Fisher had let out, and by the end of the night, due in part to some of the people I knew already that were there, and in larger part to a couple aussies that I'd met during the convention, I actually had a really good time and ended up on the dance floor. They didn't really get me dancing much, but my one long time friend there didn't think that they'd get me anywhere near the dance floor no matter what. And I thought he was right.

There were improvements that could've been made, sure....more food and shorter drink lines included... but I had a great time at it.

this was my bf's and mine first celebration and we had a blast! I was so excitied about meeting two fellow people from the forum. I was so excited about getting great action figures that were cheap and the celebration store had such great things that i got. the exibits were awesome and seeing people in costume was even cooler.

Guys, I had a great time at C4. And it's not just because they played my video yadda yadda yadda. I had a great time because of you guys, the people on these boards....going to Disneyland, hanging out at the Fig after hours and sharing stories and memories. For me, it's never the content of the con that makes the con wonderful, but being able to hang out with all of you guys! hugs

I had a great time too. LACC was a better facility than Indianapolis and the convention as a whole was far better run than Celebration II.

Celebration really is what you make it.

Hanging out with JCers was definitely the best part. Whether it was attending panels at the actual convention, shopping at the store (which I actually got to go in this time around!) and the vendor hall, meeting some famous people, or just hanging out after hours at the Fig or wherever...it was the people and my friends that made this a memorable and fun experience for me.

happy

Well, there will be a next time.
And it was all very impromptu. Nothing was planned.

That's something we'll try to rectify at C5.
