I know I am. This happened to me at Celebration III as well. I mean, I was just in L.A., meeting various Star Wars celebrities, experiencing the costumes and the custom-made droids, meeting all the fans, seeing the Convention Center all decked out with SW stuff, looking at all the SW merch, etc.! L.A. was the Star Wars capitol of the world for 6 days, and I was there with all of you to share in the celebration.

I have been waiting since CIII two years ago for this event to happen, and now it is all over with - again. I feel like I should be hanging out in the Fan Club Lounge with Bonnie Piesse, Steve Sansweet, etc., feeling completely at home and casual. Now I am at home in East Lansing, MI, and I don't feel like I belong here, like I have more important things to attend to. Anyone else going through "withdrawals"?

I REALLY miss the Fan Club Lounge...

Sitting back with a tasty Jack and Coke discussing SW with someone you just met, answering Star Wars trivia questions while looking around at all the costumes...listening in on conversations people were having at Meet and Greets...ahhh...

Somehow working in the garden and washing the dogs doesn't seem to be appealing at all!

Hope to see everyone next time...hope I can get to ComicCon, maybe see some of you guys there.

Martha

I know how you feel. This was my first Celebration so I've been planning, preparing & waiting impatiently for months. I had the best time and didn't want it to end. It was so hard to get up & just go to work today. I got used to having lunch with stormtroopers and walking through a sea of Star Wars toys.

I'm with you too.

I still regret having never gone to the fan club lounge.. only found out about it latish on saturday.

the sights, the sounds, the people.... its hard to not be around. Granted, this is easier than after episode III and spending weeks outside the theatre for that. That was real hard to get used to not having.

For those unrealistic dreams, I've got to post one I'd heard, which was a city for Star Wars fans... where this was how things were. Which would be awesome.... to have star wars have a home year-round, not just every few years for a few days. (I THINK this idea came from a Spokane fan force, but not sure)

That's it, I'm moving!

I'm selling my house here in Texas and moving to the un-named Star Wars city! happy

Wouldn't that be awesome!? You'd get to dress in costume everyday, heck, I'd have a different one for everyday...hmm...should I be a Tusken or Slave Leia today?

My only contribution to the idea was the design....
Cloud City... let the city come to you

Though I later figured and Ithorian herd ship might be better.

A "Star Wars City"? That would be incredible! I don't know if I could live there, but if I was offered a job there I just might!

Even if you could visit it'd rock... just knowing its there.
I mean, I'm reminded of a conversation I had with a woman on thursday, who was so overwhelmed to see people her age that were into star wars because she just really wasn't aware of any and was enjoying that aspect of it. Star Wars City? Problem fixed.

I'm actually really glad to be home. I missed Midwest people (and weather) after only a few days. And if I need a SW fix I have my FanForce. But, I'm sure when I go back to work on Thursday it will be hard being around 15,000 people (I work at the Sprint Headquarters) and not just being able to randomly start talking about SW.

its reason to go to the next one.

A general point... for all the flak male star wars nerds take for therefore having never talked to girls by being star wars fans... there were definitly not just a lot of female star wars fans about, but a lot that were quite easy on the eyes. And much better odds than any football game I've ever been to. Always find it odd how that stereotype continues to get pushed.

I miss C4 too! The energy of the fans was absolutely the best part. To be surrounded by people who loved Star Wars like I did - from different cultural backgrounds, men and women, old and young - was an awesome awesome experience.

Star Wars City? Heck yeah! I'd move in a minute, marry and raise kids there.

I'm with you, too.

Fellow Rebel Legioner Pete Solo posted a string similar to this after C3. Once again, I'm feeling the withdrawals again.

I'm still in L.A. for another week before going home but I really miss C4.

Despite some setbacks like forgetting my 2nd digital camera memory card way back at home and LOSING one of my mini DV (digital video) tapes with footage on it from C4, I still enjoyed myself immensely. They say, it's all about how you spend the time that is given to you. I would say, I spent my time well at C4. Missed a lot but saw even more.

Can't wait until C5. I hope to be there. I hope y'all will, too!

May the Force be with you.

P.S. I'll be putting up C4 pix on our website with my friend & coordinator's help as soon as we have free time!
