Even though I didn't go I still miss looking at the forums and planning, all the hype on Celebration IV right before the Star Wars Marathon and watching fan-films on the internet while packing before the Vancouver Police Department screwed up my trip.

No CIV withdrawals for me. I've got over 2,300 pics and videos to go thru and edit/re-name. So I will be very busy re-living CIV over and over again for at least a few more weeks.

I miss it so much! Going back to work just brought back all the stress. I did miss Seattle weather (and water, my hair was so gross the whole weekend!), but the whole thing did reignite my love of all things SW. Ebay, here I come!

No withdrawal for me. My feet hurt so bad even with good shoes and I ate too much. I was glad to get home and decompress - and sleep. However, I want to go to another one in a couple of years!

My feet are right there with you, but the weekend went by fast. It seemed like such a shame to see it shut down on Monday.
I don't think they should have a CV until they have new material to promote for this cartoon and series, whether it's 2009 or 2010. I didn't get to the 3-D Clone Wars cartoon panels, but really all I want to know is when it's supposed to be on.

I've been in such a bad withdrawal slump
C4 was my first con-going experience, and it was one of the best experiences i've ever had. Being surrounded by so many other fans who share my love for the saga.....theres nothing like it. So I got to be a jedi for a while, but the robes are hung up now....until next time

I miss everyone I met and the long evenings with them just goofing off and talking. I also miss the geeky atmosphere and well... not having to worry about work or school. How long until C5?

I went back to work today, and had a great smile on my face going in...talking about the con, having people asking all about it (even though they think I'm a big nerd...haha!).
...then I had to get to real work...talking to patients, arguing with insurance companies, etc. (I'm a nurse), reading all the stacked up e-mails from the boss, dealing with a staff shortage this week, etc.
Umm...I'm all ready to go to the next convention...anyone ever been to the Dallas ComicCon (I live outside Austin)? Not sure if Jedi robes are usually worn there, but I'd LOVE to wear mine, and buy tons of comics!

I am having major C4 withdrawal symtoms! After a week of SW bliss, I am unaccustomed to the people around me not being interested in hearing all of my C4 stories (with the exception of my dear hubby, he has been very understanding in listening to me go on and on about my experiences )
I would love to live in SW City! Perhaps someone could make a SW-themed retirement community and have it ready for the the 60th anniversary when us first generation fans will be ready for it!

I am still riding on the high.. have not come down yet..though I wish the individual that accidentally took my sideshow cash cards and my badges out of my car would return them.

I was very sad on Tuesday. I listen to the last three podcast and got very teary Eyed . I got very sad for like a month after CIII ,Im hoping that i dont go through that again. The only time I feel totally accepted is when Im around my SW friends and going back to my "regular" life where everybody including my family thinks Im a loser for loving SW is depressing.

Farfy, I agree with you about the water. I'm not sure what it was, but the tapwater there was either harder or softer than I'm used to or something... it didn't wash soap off very well, and I still felt dirty immediately after getting out of the shower. I noticed that when I was in Phoenix a couple of years ago as well. Maybe that entire corner of the US has that problem.

Only waves of PCD here.
I keep getting all excited while looking at everyone's pics and discussing the fun of C4 in the numerous threads around the forums. Then of course it sets in that it's over and went too damn fast.
And I miss all those I met and hung out with everyday.

I'm going through some serious DT's! I really miss everyone. CIV was good. Spending CIV with my old friends and a bunch of new ones was great!
