Serious withdrawals here! I just got home yesterday (spent two more days in LA and lost one day in transit to Europe). Two of our bags are still somewhere between Paris and Helsinki, but most of the things I bought got through nicely already. I really miss being around people who care about Star Wars. It's pretty lonelysome to be a fan out here even beyond the Hoth system beatup

Star Wars city? Give me directions, I'll get there!

I was entering into withdrawl, and then I watched a training video at work that featured the death star and mentioned yavin in something about the gas giants. And then I was reminded I work with nerds... and that makes it that much easier.

The only thing that I have to complain about is where they displayed the
giant 30th Birthday card. I wished they had displayed it somewhere else to
remind me to sign it.....
I wish that I had signed it because I signed the 10th birthday card back in
1987........

Oh, hell yeah. Major downer to get back to DRL. I've already worked 2 days and attended a funeral.

I want to return to that galaxy.

and regarding future Celebrations - I heard from more than one person that there are two penciled in for LA, beginning in 2009.

and also -
wish I could hop over to London for Celebration Europe. I hear they're getting Palpatine.

I am going through Star Wars withdrawal, I only have Cinemax and my DVD's to make up for the needing the high...lol

I really miss the great Mexican food while we were in California. I stayed until Friday visiting the ol' cheek pinchers, you know extended family, and we had some great food. I have to admit, here in Ohio Taco Bell is no substitute for all that great tasting food in Cali. I need my Mexican fix as well...

Started going thru all of my CIV pics & videos over the weekend. That should satisfy my SW appetite for the next few weeks.

Hopefully the Special DVD Saga Boxed Set is released later this year, so that will hold me over until the official C5 announcement. happy
