I KNEW I saw him in there!  He was right in front of me at one of the action figure booths, but I didn't say anything because I thought my eyes were tricking me.

If you were a MOD or just at the Fig near the pool area those nights, I met you (can't remember names ). I also met John Ostrander, Jan Duursema, Aaron Allston, Karen Traviss, Troy Denning, J.W. Rinzler, and John Alvin (artist, "A Bright Center").

I met tons of people but my brain is fried right about now. One of the highlights (besides meeting all the tf.ners) was meeting Ryan and Dorkman of lightsaber fan film fame. They were sitting right behind me at the SW in 30 minutes and I got to talk to them about film making. So much fun!

I met a lot of people.. and I keep whacking myself over the head for not having gotten out my white/black plain program guide and had everyone sign it.. but I just was not thinking at all.. there was just not enough time to do everything.. I could start a list of who I met but then I would not have all the names on it and I would feel bad for leaving names off and I don't want to do that.. so I won't name names.. but yes indeed I met a lot of you!!! I am looking forward to meeting up with all of you again in the future

I met a lot of really great people during the marathon including one couple who offered me one of their friends and family tickets for Thursday (too bad I couldn't go). Nobody from the boards, although I think I saw a FanForce badge around the neck of this cute girl in front of me in line for the hour with Ray Park, but by the time I noticed it she had already disappeared into the crowd. Badge or not, I regret not talking to her.
As far as celebrities, I got some autographs but I'd hardly call that "meeting" any of them due to the small amount of time spent with each of them. Park and Morrison were cool, though.

I kept wondering when she was going to get sick of us and find something else to do. As it happened, I wound up leaving before she did. But while autographs are all well and good, what I've always wanted was the opportunity to just sit and talk to one of the profic authors and hear their thoughts on writing and the GFFA. While I still disagree with Karen on a number of issues, I can't believe I finally got the chance to do that, and remain so impressed by her kindness and accessibility. It was awesome.
Oh, and it was nice seeing you again too, Dingo.
