How many of you nabbed some of the Sideshow Toys gift cards? My wife and I got three of them, each worth $10 each. The downside is that they can only be used on select Sideshow items on their website. And the catalog of available SW items is not very good IMO.

Would have liked to have seen the gift cards valid towards anything you purchase from Sideshow.

OK, I think this is pretty complete:

SW playing cards set
Books at the B&N booth
New SW TPB from Dark Horse
Insider C-IV edition
Ordered new SW checks
Celebration, SW is Forever, and X-Wing t-shirts
Messenger Bag
Tote Bag
Pin
Patch
Pens
Catalog
C-IV hat
Water bottle
Randy Martinez print
John Alvin print
Terese Nielsen print with remarque
Tsuneo Sanda print
Russell Walks print
Jerry Vanderstelt print
Jason Palmer print (absolutely stunning) with sketchbook
Howard Shum print
Tommy Lee Edwards print
Robert Hendrickson print with remarque
Tom Hodges print with extra Padme sketch

For free - a bunch of autographs and photos from OP, and a special Mark Chiarello signed artist's proof because I have a friend who knows him. All the prints have Padme on them, that's why I bought them happy .

After CIII, there were quite a few of the Art prints up for sale at Starwarsshop.com, does anyone see that being the case again or were they all sold out?

Yeah, I agree. I was a little bummed when the Giftcard didn't apply to all Sideshow's items. I have one card worth $20 too.

Did anyone go to the Website for Skinit.com. Got home and went through my stuff and saw I picked up a freebie card advertizing this website where you can purchase Star Wars skins for your cell phone, Playstation 2 consol, MP3 player, and other stuff. But I don't remember seeing that booth. The card was offering a 30% discount if you order by June 10th, but the password I enter in that they give you doesn't show the Discount. Was curious if anyone else went to this website, and if so did they have the same problem?

I don't know if I can remember everything! happy
The BF and I are both Star Wars nuts, so we went a little crazy...

Gentle Giant Gree mini bust (pre-ordered)
Sideshow Yavin Luke (pre-ordered)
McQuarrie Luke and droids figures
Store program
Both store posters
2 Red track jackets
C-3PO kids shirt
Han Solo store shirt
White ringer CIV shirt
Leia tank top
Fleece hat
Belt Pouch
Tumbler set
2 shot glasses
Magnet set
Store dogtags
Star Wars Shop Clone dogtags
Bottle opener
2 Lanyards
Tom Hodges print
Grant Gould print
Jake print
Cat Staggs print
Marc Wolfe print
Mark Raats print
Scott Erwert print
3 Decks of playing cards
Order 66 poster from Official Pix

We would've spent more, but I guess Gentle Giant didn't want our $$$ sad

I, too, was disappointed in the selection of Star Wars items you can currently purchase with the Sideshow gift cards. They are good until the end of the year, so we're just going to wait and see if something better is available. We were lucky enough to snag $50 & $40 cards happy

I can't wait to get the artwork framed happy

I loves me Padme stuff happy . That's why I don't have to bother worrying about exclusives or whatnot -- nobody bothers with making a Padme exclusive LOL. I really didn't spend much on anything other than the artwork -- that set me back a pretty penny. But it is so cool -- and the artists are just wonderful to talk to.

Well, just on STAR WARS alone, (not counting plane tickets, hotel room and food) off the top of my head, I spent over $2,000.00.

That includes the Autograph Hall (almost all autograph coupons and photo coupons pre-ordered/picked up on site), 2 A CONVERSATION WITH CARRIE FISHER Passes (pre-ordered/picked up on site), the Art Hall, the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV STORE, STARWARSSHOP Booth, HASBRO Booth and SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES Booth (2 items pre-ordered/picked up on site).

Without going into detail:

I purchased 39 autographs on 38 STAR WARS photos from 35 STAR WARS Celebrities signing in the Autograph Hall, including 2 autographs and STAR WARS photos from Carrie Fisher, 2 autographs and STAR WARS photos from Jake Lloyd and 2 autographs from Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker and one STAR WARS photo from each and a second STAR WARS photo being a multi photo from Anthony Daniels, featuring both, that they both signed. Each autograph was signed to me, except the 2 I got from Kenny Baker.
Off the top of my head, I spent over $800.00.

STAR WARS Artwork from 12 different STAR WARS Artists from the Art Show including 14 STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV Posters including the 2 STAR WARS posters sold in the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV STORE (including 2 of the STAR WARS poster sold in the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV STORE created by John Alvin, making a total of 15 STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV Posters from Artist from the Art Show) and another STAR WARS poster for another event featuring STAR WARS from one of the STAR WARS Artist from the Art Show and another STAR WARS poster from another of the STAR WARS Artist from the Art Show, along with many STAR WARS things from some of the STAR WARS Artist from the Art Show included and not included in the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV poster price and I also purchased the STAR WARS poster created by John Brosio titled REDEMPTION. Each piece of artwork was signed, with a high percentage of them signed to me.
Off the top of my head, I spent over $800.00.

I purchased 2 of each of the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV Ralph McQuarrie Concept figures from the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV STORE and from the HASBRO Booth and pre-ordered and picked up the SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES ATTENDEE-Luke Skywalker-Rebel Hero: Yavin IV-30th Anniversary Exclusive STAR WARS 12-inch Figure and SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES ATTENDEE-'This is No Cave' Space Slug Enviorama-30th Anniversary Exclusive STAR WARS Diorama-Polystone Enviorama and many, many STAR WARS items from the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV STORE, including 2 of the same thing of at least 3 of the items I purchased (including the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV Ralph McQuarrie Concept 2 figure pack sold in the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV STORE).
Off the top of my head, I spent over $500.00. (This includes the 2 posters sold in the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV STORE including 2 of the STAR WARS poster sold in the STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV STORE created by John Alvin)

Money well spent. grin cool

I also got some STAR WARS items for free at STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV. grin cool

That's a lot of STAR WARS and a lot of fun. grin cool

And if I could have, I would have gotten more. grin cool

And . . .

Not included in the above total money spent . . .

Me and my wife are from Greenwood, Indiana and on May 31rst, I attended a talk/instruction/signing in Carmel, Indiana featuring STAR WARS Author Karen Traviss and STAR WARS Artist Tom Hodges and STAR WARS Artist Matt Busch. Each item I purchased was autographed and signed to me, including the STAR WARS poster Tom Hodges created for STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV, with the exception of two of the autographs not being signed to me.
Off the top of my head, I spent over $200.00.

Again, money well spent. grin cool

I also got some STAR WARS items for free at the talk/instruction/signing (including a STAR WARS item from Matt Busch that I also got from him at STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV when I bought from him the STAR WARS poster he created for STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV). grin cool

Again, that's a lot of STAR WARS and a lot of fun. grin cool

And, again, if I could have, I would have gotten more. grin cool

I thought I had read somewhere (and I could very well be wrong, so please correct me if I am) that the unsold CIV art prints were going to be destroyed after the con.

Can anybody shed some light on this?
