I know this probably does not belong in this particular forum, but hey its news!!!
I was just watching "The Showbiz Show with David Spade" on Comedy Central and there was a huge STAR WARS announcement. At around the end of the show, David's complete announcenment:
"George Lucas just announced plans to make 2 more Star Wars movies. Really, two more, so there was the one movie,two sequels, then three prezesuels, and now there is two more on top of that. Picture this gang...Obi Wan and Yoda but their in High School...no, no, no, no, thats enough sir...Lets keep it at a billion!!!"
This is his verbage forbatim.
HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN THIS...I WAS IN SUCH A SHOCK AT THE NEWS I WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN AND IN MY CURRENT PREGNANT CONDITION WAS NOT GOOD...LOL.
BRING IT ON BABY, WE ARE ALL THERE FOR YA GEORGE.
I WILL TRY AND FIND THE ANNOUNCEMENT ON YOUTUBE AND POST IT!!!

I believe they are short films that are supposed to be picked up on HBO or something of the sort, but that is what I heard a while ago. Im sure there not Major Motion Pic's but wishful thinking never hurt.
I remember hearing something on the force cast about these also...they were makin fun, yet another Ewok's 1 & 2=)

They're making fun of the two TV series/telefilms that are coming up.

You know...I just reported what I heard and saw...if you want to make fun of it, then have at it.
Yes, it was word for word, I replayed the exact verbage back and forth several times on my DVR to make sure I quoted him correctly.
No, my shift key is not broken, it works very fine, ty!!!
I hope that some of these comments were sarcasm, it is hard to tell online what someones tone is. If you dont want to hear news that another SW fan has to share, no matter what it is, then dont reply to the thread. I have been posting in the forum's for a long time and have never felt like I was being snickered at behind my back. If you did not intentionally do that, than my apologies, but if you did, then you should go to maturity school. Can't we all just be nice to eachother...I mean for heaven's sake we are all here for the same reason, STAR WARS!!!

This is not the only place this evening I heard this news...I also heard it on G4tv, but they said 3 more movies, not 2 as previously reported by the David Spade show... Why the negativity? Geesh

The negativity is because Lucas has said time and time again that there will not be any more movies, and all of these news stories are clearly jokes.
