My Celebration Tale of WOE: Perhaps you folks can help

Hey guys.
This is an old Force.net poster, Lukecash returning once again to the fold. I went to the Celebration Four and had a GREAT time. It was a really awesome experience for a geek like me.
But there is a <Mako voice from Conan> great tale of woe</mako> that happened.
A friend was supposed to join me Saturday, but he was NOT hard core, and thus bailed when I knew we had to get there early. It was the best thing, and worse thing that could have happened.
It all started on Saturday. I got up early (4:30) and drove from my apartment to Los Angeles. I parked my car in the great spot in the garage. I had done this for three days, having no more than four hours of sleep at night. The garage was rather well lit. Thus, without knowing it, I had sealed my fate that day.
During the morning, as I ran to get my Carrie Fischer Autograph, I realize I lost my lovely (#1) arm band. Which threw me out of the running to get in line, even though my ticket showed I bought it opening day at 8:00. Disgusted, I took a number 5 that was available...and I went to some programs.
It was the line at Irving Kershner that I met Nadia. She was lying there asleep, and I was reading a book. A passerby woke her up and she looked at me and asked "are you alone here?"
I replied "yes, I am" and we began talking. Her name is Nadia, a beautiful woman who was a photojournalist from Russia. From the Ural Mountains area she hailed. She was in her early thirties, short, wore glasses...(I do have a picture of her) Nadia was staying in Pasadena with a friend who was a student in the United states. She was single had a son (not a problem with me) and we shared a lot in common.
We loved Star Wars. She spent a year working overtime to make the trip. I was wearing my Batman Animated Series Joker T-Shirt. She was wearing her Posion Ivy and Harley Quinn T-Shirt. We were both big fans of Mark Hamill (The Big Red One being our mutual favorites) I gave her my Busuness Card, she said she woudl E-mail me hers.
When she heard about my problem with Carrie Fischer autograph, she complained she had the same problem. However, she got a lower number tag (#3) AND she got in when a fella let her go in based on her ticket. So she gave me HER wrist band.
We went into see Irvine Kershener and sat together. (a blast, for sure) And we kept smiling and joking around with each other. Afterwords, we agreed to meet after the Evening with Carrie Fischer event for coffee. She gave me a really big friendly hug after words. We only separated because I needed to get back in line get Carries autograph. (which I did)
I spent the rest of the day in Cloud City, on platform nine. Then time came to go line up for Carries event.
At first I did not see her. Thinking that she might stood me up. We filled in I did not see her. I was a bit bummed, but figured something might have happened. At the end, as I was walking out There she was...I couldn't believe my luck!
She gave me a gift she brought from the Soviet union. A hand carved wooden toy bear that drummed when you pulled his string. She gave me another big hug and we were kinda touchy-feely on the way to my car.
Then...the dark time came. Literally. I left my lights on and did not notice. So at 9:30 at night, my car was dead to me. I tried to get it to jump. No such luck. Because my friend was not there, I met Nadia. Because he was not there, he would have likely noticed I left my lights on.
I had another fan offer a jump. Now, he did a few things that I suspected that wasn't going to work...but he was sure that it would. I did not listen to my instinct, for I was tired and embarrased. (For example, disconnect the battery cable to get the charge to the battery...this is important) No such luck, I figured it was a goner.
I escorted her back out to the lobby. And apologized for being a big idiot. She just laughed and said it happens sometimes. And we agreed to meet the next day.
Due to a lot of circumstances...I got my car going. The security people offered me a charge with their cool battery charger generator. The only problem was this: Because the fellow fan loosened the couplings the battery Cable ripped out while I was driving on the Santa Ana Freeway (The 5) around Downey. With absolutely NO power I get my vehicle to the side of the road. On a bridge. Near an off ramp.
I called my towing service. I sat on the side of the road. Cops came and pushed me to a better location. I did not get home until 4:30 Sunday morning.
I then woke up, determined not to miss her...and got a rental car. Knowing I would have to take her to her friends place, I asked for a GPS because I knew I was going to have to take her home (She did not have any idea WHERE in Pasadena her friend lived...she took the Metro) They didn't have a working one. I waited for an hour or so... and then I left. I did not get back to the convention until noon.
And this is where the tale takes a turn for the worse. Looking back at it, I am not sure if I remembered the right meeting time. Did I stand her up, or did she stand ME up? We were supposed to meet after an event. But I may have gotten the wrong event that was to be her last.
I have not heard from her since. There was no messages in my work e-mail. I checked with the company and they claimed there was no restrictions...but who knows. I just want to make sure she made it back and perhaps...even continue our conversation.
So have any one else met Nadia by chance? I know this sounds silly, but I don't want to loose contact with this person for the lack of me trying. Destiny is what we make of it, and I'm doing what I can to make mine.

My heart is wimpering right now...this is such a romantic story you should send it into Bantha Tracks. I did not meet Nadia, but I pray you find her, she may be your match!!!

Sorry to hear that.
What surprises me about the story is how quickly you two seem to have clicked with each other.
You met her in line and the next thing you know you two had a coffee date.

I dont know about it being a fake Wilderness. I did look over his profile and he looks to be legit. However, you could be right, who knows????

No, its not fake. I lived through this adventure. There's a bit more to the story since I last posted.
I even posted on the Starwars.com on the Slavic Boards in Russian (She had a four day pass...and I used a English/Russian Translator...I'm not that brilliant.)
I figured I should try a few Russian Sci-Fi sites.
"Do or do not: There is no Try"-Yoda
So with only her first name, her country location, and her two hobbies Star Wars and Photography....I Googled her.
Of course...it wasn't going to be easy. But I am like Boba Fett...determined to find the missing person.
And several sites came up. The first one I looked but I couldn't find any Nadia mentioned. But it did have several Russian Star Wars convention. pictures. I looked those and saw no name of Nadia. And then I looked closely at few of the pictures...and there seem to be a familiar face. As I looked at the pictures, there stood a woman that was younger and a bit slimmer.
And then I looked at the bottom...and it had a name. N.(Last name) (And before you guys complain,I I'm editing to protect this relationship that is blossoming. I do have hard evidence. If you request it I will provide it via PM...but I don't a bunch of people suddenly e-mailing HER about this ;-))
And I blinked for a few moments...and then went to the main page. And sure enough...right in front of me...was her name and E-mail contact.
I may be determined like Boba Fett, but I got the sense of Greedo.
So I clicked on it and wrote her a nice E-mail summarizing what had happened. I told them how much I liked our conversation and was sorry that I did not get to meet this person again. Unless of course...they were that person. And with a calm heart, I clicked and off it went!
A few hours later...the dreaded Mailer Demon came to visit. Suddenly I felt that I was in the mines of Moria on a lone bridge facing this e-creature of obstruction. And I...an old man with a white beard and robes stood small and helpless.
But this is a Star Wars tale and the Wizard was not Grey, but a Jedi Knight! I pulled out my light Saber and went to the bar, Obi-Wan style. I would not have crying midgets in my life. Having a fuller name, I googled that along with the photography, Star Wars Dementia and of course Russian.
And this time I found another E-mail...similar to the first except there were no spaces.
And I copied the note and sent it to this Nadia. Along with a picture, of course. And I went to bed.
It was a restless night, for some reason. I couldn't get to sleep. I don't know when I fell into a dark slumber.
When I awoke I looked at my e-mail without any expectation. I had just started up a MySpace account and was adding friends to my account that I invited.
And there was an e-mail from Russia.
It was a response...in English.
And it was Nadia.
I know because she mentioned a part of her trip that I did not mention in any of my posts...something only she and I would know.
So we have communication again.
Where it will lead-I don't know...but that's the glory of it.
How it will end is obvious: She's my Sister, Hitler is our Father and she will run off with Jack Sparrow.
