This is a great idea! Unfortunately I don't think it's realistic for me to even hope that I would be able to go. As it is if I can save any money I have to start saving now for the "real" CV.

I know that it's later than we're talking, but how would the 4th of July weekend work for people? It's a long weekend, and peeps will be out of school, but I don't know how that would affect some people's getting off work.
Thoughts? Or "shut up, we're doing June"s?

Late June/Early July in Vegas? You do know how hot that is going to be? That's hot. Like Tatooine hot. Will this be just a week long vacation, a weekend vacation? What kind of Star Wars theme will this have? Will we have Elivs Stormtroopers? Will we have a RHPS style movie marathon?
Is this going to be a Star Wars themed vacation or just a vacation with Star Wars fans?

Just keep in mind that a lot of people like spending 4th of July weekend with their family. Also, it will be pretty packed in Vegas that weekend and hotel rates will most definitely be more expensive.

This would be fun but man -- it is hot in Vegas in June. It's already in the 100s. You can't stay inside every second  . But room rates are of course lower, so one has to do that "pros and cons" thingy.
