Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but how did those certain people at C4 get those "VIP" badges?

also, my guess is that a limited number of traveling companions (spouses, family, or close friends) of said VIPs also had VIP badges.

I'd been told by a confidential source that anyone that was a VIP got a couple more VIP badges to go with it. So if you knew the right people, you could get one.

I almost had one. Tim Rose wanted my Ackbar Associates badge and said he'd trade me for the VIP badge, but I needed it to get in early to set my table up.

Also people who were winners in the Star Wars Road trip from last summer. A family in my FF got 4 badges, air, and hotel for winning. Since one of his kids and wife had them and did not go everyday we shared those two

You should have done it! Not only was the VIP badge cool (had Yoda on it) They were letting people with the VIP badges in early along with all of the VIPers. From what I saw the only people who didn't get in early were those with one day and 4 day badges.
