According to Mark Hamill's official web site the Star Wars lengend will be appearing at Celebration Europe on July 13th &14th.
All attendees should feel blessed as they will be able to experience the utter joy of meeting Luke Skywalker in the flesh, an experience which eluded Celebration IV visitors in the U.S.
Mark will be at Celebration Europe on Friday, 13 July and Saturday, 14 July for autograph sessions. He will also have a 2 hour talk on Saturday night!

LONDON (4 July 2007) – Tony Award-winning actor Ian McDiarmid, whose iconic portrayal of Senator Palpatine and The Emperor in the Star Wars Saga raised suave villainy to a new level, will make a rare public appearance at STAR WARS CELEBRATION EUROPE on Friday, 13th July to help commemorate the Saga’s 30th anniversary.
McDiarmid will be a special guest of Lucasfilm Ltd. and event organiser Cards Inc. during the Opening Ceremonies at ExCeL London, home of STAR WARS CELEBRATION EUROPE. Hmmm, not sure it was the best idea to post a whole thread on this CIV forum about stuff CIV attendees weren't able to get. There are plenty of people upset about this already - justifiably so, though nothing UK/Europe fans can do about. Just one of those awkward situations. But not one that should be rubbed in people's faces, which I know you weren't doing, but this won't help IMHO.

It just isn't right...
I kept hoping Mark Hamill would make a aurprise appearance at CIV and it never happened, now I hear he's at CE...
Hmm...wonder if CE will get George Lucas in their line-up as well!

Hey, I had fun at CIV. Honestly, screw Mark Hamill if he goes to CE. I'm not going to get all mad about it. Big deal. I had a ton of fun al CIV without him and Ian. He probably would have just made lines longer anyway.

Yeah, more power to the European fans and good for them and all of that...but I find it a little irritating that Hamill hasn't done one Celebration on his home continent but he's going to Europe. McDiarmid is understandable since its in his own backyard. And let's not forget that wild rumor about Lucas, Ford and Spielberg also making an appearance at the opening ceremonies (but we know how rumors can go  ). Had we been able to know stuff like this months ago we would most likely have gone to CE rather than C4. Lucky buggers if you're able to do both

I agree with Tim. Nothing to be done about this, it has nothing to do with C-IV anymore. I'm just happy that CE fans will have the chance.
