I assume that anyone who registered online got the email with this link: GenCon C-IV Survey. What is cool about it is that almost seems to confirm that there will be future conventions.

VK edit: to turn that URL into a clickable link.

Wow, nobody sent me that little puppy. Thanks for the info! It would appear they are targeting Spring, 2009, as has been assumed all along.

I urge all of you to fill this out. In one of the "other" comment sections I added the comment that GenCon MUST get better at mailing out convention materials. I hope they'll be paying attention.

Just submitted my survey. Here's hoping all of our comments do not fall on blind eyes when planning for C5 and C6 eventually comes around...

I just finished the survey, too.

Wow! So exciting to see that they are toying with a Spring 2009 date for C5! dancing

I filled out the survey. Personally, I prefer 2010 for the next Celebration, when we can hope LA will have a closer hotel to that convention center. The categories on the multiple choice questions looked a bit limited.

Excellent
Very Good
Good
Fair
Poor

3 positive, 1 neutral and 1 negative. I tended to grade them more harshly just because of that.

I am such a nerd.

I was SO happy to get that survey, it just made me think about Celebration IV and how much fun it was...now I'm REALLY looking forward to the next one. Spent the afternoon at work minimizing/maximizing the survey and really thinking out the questions, haha! I could see the other nurses glancing over trying to see what I was looking at...hehe!

Got the email and filled out the survey...but should a link to it be published here on a public forum? Clearly they seem to only be interested in the opinion of those who attended C4...

I just got this survey and filled it out. It was funny I got this now, because I was talking to someone at Celebration Europe today about when Celebration V might be and I mentioned that I had heard 2009 was a possibility. Can't wait for CV, hopefully in 2009.

I don't have a problem with publishing the link here in the forum. The word is all out over the 'net, i.e., at TF.N, Rebelscum, etcetera, etcetera. A valid statistical survey company always adjusts for responses. Even as we who attended fill out this survey, if someone that did not attend filled out the form and has comments, all of those responses/comments may not matter one way or the other; after all, GenCon will heed or take no notice as befits their intent, anyway.

It also allows for those fans who did not register beforehand and made 1-day on-site badge purchases to enter their comments as well. If they did not provide their e-mail address at the booth when they purchased their badges on-site, they would not receive the survey link.

I agree - posting the survey link here is a great idea.

I filled out the survey as soon as I got it, giving a lot of positive responses.

Frankly, I was surprised that it brought up the idea of C5 in 2009, obviously for the 10th anniversary of TPM. I'd have figured they'd be more likely to schedule it for 2010, for the 30th anniversary of TESB. But, I suppose they could go with both, actually.
