24 HOURS LEFT PEOPLE!!!
Except for those fans attending the Midnight showing later on tonight, we have T-minus 24 hours to go before our whip-wielding professor dons the fedora on the big screen for the first time in 19 years!!!
All of the anticipation & excitement comes down to one single day left.
I simply cannot wait for tomorrow morning!!!

Gah! Less than 24 hours until the midnight showing.
You know...I don't even think it's hit me yet. I don't think it's quite sunk in that this is the first time I've ever gotten to participate in an opening for Indiana Jones despite the fact that I've been a fan for most of my life.
I'm completely ready to watch this movie - be it good or bad - and in only 11 hours and 36 minutes, I can do just that.

Just got home from picking up my advance Indy tickets for tomorrow morning. My theater has some amazing Indy displays in the lobby area, but the damn theater attendants would not let me take any pics of them. Gave me this nonsense bit that it would be a $500 fine if they allowed me to take any pics of their movie displays. 
What a crock. The name of the theater isn't even near any of the Indy displays, so how the heck would anybody know where the pics came from?
Ahhh, needless to say, I got my Indy tix in hand all ready for tomorrow morning.

I cannot wait. I will be seeing it on saturday, had to find a babysitter first. Now, if it would have been Star Wars, everyone would have been there to help, they know my sickness...lol. But, no dice on seeing the Indy on opening night. But, still....got my Fedora ready and my cute Indy Girl outfit...cant wait.
YOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Watching the Temple of Doom right now, then on to The Last Crusade...hehehehe

Eh, can't say I share your enthusiasim about it. Just read Justin's review (which I'm sure he won't post here for the sake of spoilers) and it seems as though he feels much the same as I do. It's a good movie, but certainly not a high point in the series. I have a SERIOUS problem with the direction this particular film went but that's just me. Over all I thought it was good... just didn't like where they went with it. That's all.

I don't think it's a problem with spoilers -- but you could always put the text in white and say "highlight to read" if you want to. I'd like to see people's opinions on the movie.

GJ and I are in agreement that the film was disappointing. For the sake of spoilers, I will not mention specific scenes in the film that I did not like.
Overall, I did not like the plotline and any of the character development. The humor seemed forced at times and did not flow like it does in the Indy trilogy.
To me, it was not worth the almost 3 years of anticipation and all the hype that surrounded it over the past few months.
A good film on its own if you remove the name "Indiana Jones" and the iconic character. But as a new Indy film, it falls short of expectations.
