That makes sense though. When I think of Chicago and conventions I always think of Rosemont because every convention I have been to in that fine city has been there.
Incidentally, to throw even more fuel on the already raging fire, I have it from a good source that NYC has been ruled out as a location (apparently didn't impress Sansweet & Co. enough while they were at the New York Comic Con)....for whatever those 'good sources' are worth

The Holiday Inn is the hotel that's down at the harbor across from the Star of India. It's too far to walk, but it's on the shuttle route, so it's all good. My trick was just to start signing in about two minutes before the website started up, and I must just have it at at the exact right time.

I am suffering from C5 withdrawal.

LOL...you crack me up dude. I know you love Star Wars and you're looking forward to the next Celebration but certainly you can hold on a little longer. I don't want to be around the day they announce no more conventions. LOL!

I know just how you feel. I am trying to fill in the announcement time by researching the areas of interest for C5. I think I know just about everything there is to know about Chicago...lol.
No people, I dont need a life...lol, I got one, Star Wars. But, the fun of waiting is getting to me.

I hope that rumor of New York City being ruled out is true. I thought the same thing when someone told me Washington D.C. might be a good choice. I told them it was really bad idea. Then again if McCoromicks Place or Rosemount Convention Centers don't work out Let's hope for Indy Convention Center to get another chance. I was told the convention center expansion would be done in time for the 2010 NCAA Men's Final Four in March, 2010. My fingers crossed for luck!
