Thats all they had? ok so maybe i got the dates missed up, i thought there was a day that was just for fan club members and i thought they would have more than that but it must not have been that day.
That would be cool if they did that for the next one. It's good to share something like that with people who feel the same. I really liked the vibe at the opening ceremony at CIII. It's contagious

Wednesday = Movie Marathon Day
Thursday = SW Fan Club Member Day
Friday = Official start to CIV for everybody else

So you dont feel like you missed out on things that happened that day cause you were watching the movies?
Was worried about that myself but I'd probably go next time. How large was the screen?

It was about the size of a standard movie theater screen (maybe a bit smaller).
The projector that was used was absolutely massive.

No, the Move Marathon was held in an extremely large hangar-like section. It easily seated hundreds and hundreds of fans, and had concession stands situated along the back wall for refreshments. Bathrooms were also located towards the rear of the room.
There was a 25-30 minute break in between each episode viewing.
The Fan Films were held in regular-sized convention room.

Yeah the hall was insanely large. Almost like an airplane hangar.
Plus, the lights were kept pretty dim, so finding fellow fans who were wearing their RS and TF.N badges was a little difficult.

My wife and I wore our RS and TF.N badges the entire time we were in LA (7 days).
We wore them both at the con and outside the con, no matter where we were.
We got to meet about a half dozen fellow RS and TF.N fans during our stay in LA.

I'll tell ya the one thing I am really looking forward to at CV is More Art!!
I bought One print at CIV and now Im getting Star Wars art crazy. I especially LOVE most of the CIII art. Ebay is been a steady friend in the last few days.

I meant in generally. I know before CIV some of the people from this board talked about getting together.

Oh, understood. It was tough. Since I spent so much time helping Official Pix (even a whole day with Anthony Daniels), unless folks came to the autograph area, I didn't see anybody. Amidala came by with her husband and kids, and I had like two seconds to talk to her! And then Justin and I met up at the fan club breakfast. Flying by I would see badges, but I was usually on my way to something. Oh, edited to add that I did meet and talk to Mara at the fan force table.
