okay, let's bring down the level of intelligence again
this is me:
Real name: Senol Mehmet Viehoff, commonly called Senny, that's not actually an S, it's the next letter in the Turkish alphabet, pronounced as /sh/ as in /basher/ but I can't type it (and most systems don't display it anyway), that's why I sometimes write it as $enol, but that makes me look like Luca$, which is far from the truth
Age: 21... 17... 8... pick one. okay, it's 23...
Favorite movies outside of Star Wars: FotR, RotK, X2 (probably 3 once I have it on DVD), Lion King, JP/Lost World, Incredibles....
Music I like: filmscores and random crap that's got a melody (which excludes HipHop)
Books I like: SW Books, LotR, Hitchhiker's Guide ... I don't actually get to read anything else, much less anything I like
Hobbies and interests: Reading (hard to believe, eh?), posting, modding, movies, silliness
If you like long walks on the beach: Yes. Haven't taken all that many, but I do love water. So I could just as well circle some pond 5 times with you.
Is it said that I can ramble on for so long about my damn name?

Favorite movies outside of Star Wars: The Godfather Parts I and II, Cabaret, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Duck Soup, Clerks, LOTR, Goodfellas, Dawn of the Dead (original), Rebecca, Dragonwyck, and I'm a complete sucker for either anything with Vincent Price or silent films...especially The Phantom of the Opera, Metropolis and Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari.

I have some theories on Tyranus:
1) He was cryogenically frozen -- cryogenically (teehee) -- at an early age, at which time, "Demolition Man"-style, he was encoded with all sorts of extreme knowledge.
2) He killed his father after he'd taught him everything he knew, Darth Sidious/Darth Plagueis-style, and stole all his knowledge (which he promptly transcribed into endless Microsoft Word documents and copies and pastes into threads as needed).
3) He's one clever son of a *****.*
*No offence to his mother. Wait!
4) He's a virgin birth with the highest midi-chlorian count in the galaxy.
Anyway: here is a much more interesting topic... Me!
*egotistical drum roll*
Real Name: John
Age: 23
(Two close Tyranus facts -- but true )
Location: I split my time between Wales (where my mom now lives), Birmingham (my home city; where my dad lives) and Lincoln (where I study). Being in Lincoln is cool. I'm just a ten minute walk from one of the filming locations of The Da Vinci Code.
Favourite movies outside of Star Wars: Superman, The Godfather Trilogy, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Casino, A Bronx Tale, Pulp Fiction, Unforgiven, Tombstone, Dances With Wolves, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Lawrence of Arabia, The Bridge on the River Kwai, 2001, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, Big, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Lost In Translation, Bubba Ho Tep, Good Will Hunting, Toy Story, The Jungle Book, The Lion King, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Donnie Brasco, Scent of a Woman, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, A Streetcar Named Desire... quite a few.
Music you like: Peeps: Elvis, Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Diamond, The Rat Pack, Elton John, Loretta Lynn/Conway Twitty, Roberta Flack et al... Bands: Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Verve, Travis, Coldplay, The Stereophonics, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Abba, The Mamas and the Papas, Dire Straits, Queen... **and film sountracks!** ...quite a few.
Books you like:: A Passage To India, Contact, 2001, The Elegant Universe (non-fiction), The Long Walk To Freedom (non-fiction)... plus a bunch of books on Star Trek/Star Wars... then various poets and playwrights.
Hobbies and interests: films, music, reading/writing, computing, over-analysing, realising the word "anal" exists in "analysing" for a reason, death to fast food corporations, death to Michael Moore, global domination.
What you do for a living: I'm currently a student. I've previously worked in a call centre and an insurance office.
If you like long walks on the beach: My mom lives on a street called "Beach Road". She's literally a few hundred yards from sand and sea. I actually prefer cycling to walking on the beach, however (or driving my stepdad's 4x4 like a maniac -- it's all good).
Cool stuff in the last year or so: I turned 23 in April (ok, that's not so cool). I dated a 15 year old girl when I was 22 (cos I'm just so spiffy lookin' -- but nothing happened). I bumped into ex-England footballer Stuart Pearce in Manchester outside a music concert and he gave me a VIP ticket. I stole my first traffic cone recently (Sith... er, student rite of passage).
Here's a pic of me. A moody pic. Excuse my posing -- c'mon, how often do I post pics? I'm not as crazy as Strilo, dawg. Not yet.

I have a great admiration for George. These films are very well-intentioned. All right, they make tremendous amounts of money and appeal to kids, but they say good things, and they say them in a broad way. I believe in the Star Wars films. - Ian McDiarmid

Real name: Tim, Timo, Timothy, Ami...
Age: 32, look 25, act 17 (sometimes)
Location: Stuttgart, Germany (raised in Portland, Oregon.)
Favorite movies outside of Star Wars: Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, It's a Wonderful Life, The Abyss, most things by Steven Spielberg
Music you like: Pearl Jam, the Beatles, Live, R.E.M., Def Leppard, Queen .... the works... very diverse. A few newer bands, The Killers, Coldplay (only XY) and Jet.
Books you like: I read mostly Sci-Fi. Arthur C. Clarke is a genius (sup Malk?), Larry Niven, Orson Scott Card, Piers Anthony, Douglas Adams... also Harry Potter, LOTR
Hobbies and interests: Love music and film. Want to be a filmmaker someday. Apple computers, photography, traveling, anything German related, family and friends.
What you do for a living: Right now I am a student, with the US and German governments paying for me to "study" in Germany for a year. This process involves a lot of bier, sausage, traveling around Europe... and the occasional class. Before I went back to school (at age 29) I was in the computer / high tech field, doing support and troubelshooting for desktop users and worked for some pretty large companies (Intel, Nike, etc...)
If you like long walks on the beach: Yup. Beaches are 60-90 minutes from Portland. Love it.
Props to all who named Pearl Jam, your check is in the mail. Kudos to the guy with the guts to post Def Leppard. I love them and many others do too, but they don't wanna admit it. I am alarmed at the number of "bashers" posting U2. Maybe I DO have a bias...

Hey guys, just so you know, I'm still reading the threads here, even though I haven't got the time to post very much right now. Its a long story, but my Brother is going through a lot of RL trauma at the moment, and I have him and his family staying with me, so my Internet Time is limted. Hopefully I'll get my house back next week and I'll have more time to post then.
