I don't play the games, myself. I just don't personally like getting involved in something that requires me to remember stuff... like to log in and answer a question by such-and-such date.
I might be interested in more of the shorter, sillier games that aren't so elaborate with teams and time tables and such.

I tend to agree with Lexu. Other than drafts, I'm not too into complicated games.

Do you have examples of the games you do like (except for the draft you just mentioned), or would a JCC version of a draft game be an idea?

I've actually never entered a draft thread before. I dont know how to play or anything, and I'm sure theres others like me. I think a JCC draft would be a very good idea.

Me experience with the draft games is limited as well, but from what I have seen there are enough subjects for a JCC draft available.
All we need to do is find an experienced host for this.

I really love the idea, but what would we be drafting?
Also, I'm more than willing to host or "commish" it, when we decide on the subject matter.
To Grant: I've tried to get involved in some of the Sleepy games or whatever, but I just lose interest. That's not a reflection on the games, it's a reflection on my short attention span.

For example, instead of SW Characters, use random SciFi characters. Use modern military equipment. Use popular artists or actors. I'd almost say: use whatever you want as long as it isnt SW related.
(of course Im just throwing stuff in here, my experience with drafts is limited after all, so it may well be that some of those are totally impossible to use )

Hmmmmm, I could see a draft with some of those things.
The SciFi characters are already in one (or more) of the drats in C&G, but an Artist or Actor draft could totally work. It would take some tweaking to the original model and such, but, I think we could definitely pull it off. Military equipment would work as well, though again, it'd take some tweaking.

Im sure some tweaking is required, I threw in some ideas that came up without having a thorough knowledge of the game itself.
But if you're willing to give it a go with for example the Artists or Actors as theme, be my guest.
Im curious to see how well it'll do in the JCC.

I quit playing drafts after my last Jedi Draft game... where I had Mace AND Obi-Wan on my team (as well as some good secondaries) and still lost team battles

That...that's impossible! Having Mace alone on your team should result in major pwnage! Adding Obi-Wan should pretty much result in an auto-win.

I know. See why I gave it up?
Don't know what we would draft... artists or actors...meh, but then it's just kind of a "who's better/more liked" contest. The point of a draft is to have some sort of evaluation on who would win strategically in some sort of battle. Because part of the fun is who your characters get matched against, because they can't beat everyone...

I suggest military hardware. Submarines would get yet another chance to pwn battleships!
