I'm going to jump on the 'keep it going' bandwagon, even if only for the fact that I was away for half of it so far.

i agree with everything KW said in his response to KK's statement and see no justification for this 'personal grudge' issue to even be mentioned.
it makes sense for things to finish once everything has been ironed out and there is nothing left to discuss, as opposed to a set time period, so I agree with Hawk, too.
and boogie too just for kicks.

I dunno. The Senate isn't as intimidating as it's been made out to be. The only real difference is that you must take responsibility for your posts. Is that a big deal? I don't think so.
Maybe I prefer The Senate due to my "advanced" age...
But the big difference is YJCC'ers seem to be just killing time, whereas Senate users seem to be trying to find time to post. It is truely two different worlds.
As far as intimidating goes, I've been treated most poorly in the few YJCC posts I've made than in all my Senate postings combined.

OK, we're getting to that end-of-FG intertia in which the excitement is dying out, so let's start to summarise our points. Feel free to copy/paste and edit with what you think I'm missing/lacking in each point.
- Main differences between YJCC and the Senate:
- What constitutes a Senate thread?:
- How best to deal with an overlap between a serious YJCC thread and the Senate: When it gets to the point the "lite" nature of the discussion has been put aside for the discussion of specific issues, such as a specific law or situation, it has crossed a boundary between the Senate and YJCC. Once a standard of proof has been introduced, either explicitly (PPOR) or implicity (arguing about sources), the YJCC mods will redirect that aspect of the conversation to the Senate Floor in order to restore the original YJCC thread.
- Social Issues: the Mods will organise a mixed-team, YJCC/Senate/Ampi/Census trivia game. More details to come!
I'll add more in a bit, but anyone else who wants to add this part is a group project or sorts so just "quote" it (to get the markups) and add what you want. If you do add something, please use a yellow hightlight so we can see what's been done?

I think we need to keep the process active. I know I haven't posted in the FG much but I have read all that you guys have said and am pleased with the suggestions/ideas that will be implemented to improve the relationship between senate and YJCC.

Well I agree but I'm suggesting we start summarising now so as to cut down the amount of work we have to do later.
