It was the rarest card for awhile. Now the Foil Darth Vader in Japanese is the rarest.
I've got both anyway...

Japanese Darth Vader foil is no where near the rarest SW:CCG card, not anymore anyway. You can usually get one on ebay for $5 or less.

Right now I have nearly 2 Anthology boxes filled, and once my box of Dagobah shows up I should have over 1600 cards. Which is more cards than I have for Magic, a game I have played off and on since 93-94. Ive been playing SW CCG for about 2 weeks, if you count organizing 3 booster boxes of cards plus Anthology boxes playing..

i would have to say around 10000 to 12000 cards. premier to death star 2 and excluding endor (unless endor came after DS2 in which case that would explain that).

I have way more cards than I'll ever need, which is why when I have some people over I try to "hook them up" with lots of cards to round out their collection.
Now, before you say "that's sick!", let me just say that most of these cards were *earned* as a volunteer for Decipher. As a Squadron Member during the entire run of the game, that meant at least 2 boxes of every expansion. Then, as a playtester, that meant at least 2 more boxes. Add in getting lots of stuff when you do conventions and the like, and the occasional purchase or stuff acquired or won at tournaments, and it gets pretty crazy.
One time I added up just my rares (a few years ago), and it was nearly 2,500. Then a friend got out of the game, giving me an amount of commons and uncommons pretty much equal to my own. Not needing another 20,000+ cards, I gave them to our local SW hangout, which afterwards went out of business, the owner dumping all of them (I should have just thrown them in my attic).
So, all in all, I have probably over 25,000 cards, most of them sorted. I would say, that on average, I have 5-6 of every card, which really helps when you build and play lots of decks like I do.

I am really disorganized, so I'll just give a discription of my orginization:
I have two boxes of DSII, closed and filled with loose cards. I have a box of Reflections III, closed and filled with cards.
I have two Anthology III boxes and one Anthology II box, the IIIs are full but the II is half full.
I have a fiew hundred cards just floating around in bags and piles.
I have two unopened DSII started packs.
Eight Specal Edition starter packs, two filled with my most precious rares and foils.
Two 60-card decks.
Two 30-card decks(for teaching people).
I have no idea how many cards this is. Will I ever count my cards? No.

I have 75000 and still incoming more cards. so at teh end of april I think the collection will exceed 100K.
