SWCCG Questions

Hey everyone. First off let me just say I'm glad the game is actually still alive in a big way. It's by far the best card game ever created!
Sadly, I only know of two people I can play the game with. One is busy or not around a lot, and the other is my girlfriend who enjoys Magic more because she understands it better, I think.
Besides that though, my real question is: if the game is still so widely support, but hard to find people to play with, why isn't CardTable supported anymore, or at least something like CardTable.
The only thing I found was this thing called Gatling Engine and it has a few major flaws: 1, it costs money PER MATCH! The other is just kinda general, it is very buggy and massivly CPU hungry.
So if there is a nice online game community I just haven't found yet, PLEASE tell me about it. Otherwise, let's start one! There's an awesome system called GCCG that I could probably figure out how to program for if enough people would be interested in doing a little bit of the work

There are currently two other on-line card playing utilities that I know of: Apprentice and Lackey CCG.
They are listed on the TCG Resources page, but the patches are TCG-specific. I do not know who might maintain the Star Wars CCG patches/add-ons for these utilities, though.

I actually play SWCCG on cardtable fairly regularly and I have the AIMs of a half dozen other people who do as well. AIM me: NadoSteve and we can play sometime.

Hey,
Does the 160MB download game also let you play against a computer opponent? Because that would be amazing to kill time here at work haha.

It does not. That would be an amazing feat of programming to make an AI opponent that could play SWCCG well. Is the full version of cardtable really 160 mb? Wow...I thought it was around 20mb...maybe its gotten bigger. Basically, the full version just has all of the card images loaded into it.
