Bib's gunship text would be good for one of the unique gunships- one of the WOTC gunship cards is called "UH-478"- but since the image link there doesn't work, I can't tell which gunship it is, but that will work for one of them.
Composite Beam Turret- typo on "deploy on you LAAT.." should be "your".
Slave 1 Lasers- change the first sentence to "Use 2 force to deploy on Slave 1."
Concussion Missle Launcher- the "capital or starship" text should have been "capital ship or starfighter" but probably could b e reworded to "Use 2 force to deploy on any starship piloted by a bounty hunter."
The Homing Spider Droid's weapon needs to be something more different from the Hailfire Droid I think. I'll type something up shortly.
For the Combat Vehicle Droids-first off you have the starship icon instead of the vehicle icon. You'll also have to fudge the header area so you can squeeze a droid icon next to the vehicle icon in the upper left corner. Also drop the "spider droid" words next to the armor and add the landspeed value instead (same thing for the IBC Hailfire Droid- the spider droid or hailfire droid characteristic is present above the power and armor or in the card title, so its redundant). I should have my version of the IBC done later hopefully as an example.
Also, I've added the following gametext to the "for remainder of game" portion of the assassination objective- "Program Trap is not unique.".

how about this for the Homing Spider Droid... (i think it'd be better to switch the power and armor values)
Homing Spider Droid

Lore: Commerce Guild assault droid features a heavily armored body core and laser canon, situated within a paralax signal tracing dish.
Combat Vehicle: Spider Droid
Power: 5
Armor 6
Landspeed: 1
Pilot Icon, Presence Icon, Permanent Weapon Icon, Commerce Guild Icon (once we have one)
Deploy: 6
Forfeit: 4

I used RB's images to save some time, and the fonts are very close, but exactly the same it seems, but you get the idea...

Thanks! Curious on a technical note how you're posting images to this forum? Do you need to provide a url to do so?
By the way Bib that card looks neat.

Hi all,
Posted a "neat" force lighting card pic (in addition to a clone trooper and an R2-D2 and some potential effect_interrupts) to the "Cards in process" page for those interested in checking it out.
http://homepage.mac.com/dark182nd/PhotoAlbum5.html
My son found the force lightning picture yesterday evening. I personally think it's pretty cool after having worked on the image this afternoon. He's got dibs on putting the text on it. Any suggestions, especially for some of the potential effect and interrupt cards would be appreciated.

PS: these pics don't have individual URL's from what I can see so posting the link to the page is the best I can do.

It's ok- your mac.com page there is more effective anyways. I just post to the forum cause it's easier for my site.

Some new card concepts...
first off, a new podracing epic event that gets an interesting result...
*There's Podracing on Malastare
Destiny: 2
Lost Or Starting Interrupt
Lore: "Very fast, very dangerous."
LOST: If Sebulba present during a battle, add two battle destinies. STARTING: Deploy Malastare (with a Podracer, opponent may also deploy a Podracer there), Malastare Podracing and any Effect that deploys for free. Place Interrupt in Reserve Deck.
Malastare Podracing
Epic Event
Destiny: 0
Gametext: Deploy on Malastare. Once per game, either player may initiate a Podrace here: During opponent's control phase, each player may draw one race destiny. Each player may place a race destiny drawn here on their Podracer (or on Malastare if they have none) or in their Used Pile. During any move phase, winner is any player with a race total > 18 here that is greater than opponent's race total here. Winner retrieves 2 Force and loser loses 3 Force. Place all race destiny cards in owner's Used Piles and all Podracers are lost. For remainder of game, winner may search their force pile once during their control phase and [take into hand X icon] any card found there.
Next, a Jar-Jar leash...
*Orange Goo
Destiny: 3
Lost Interrupt
Lore: "Mesa hate'in crunchin', dat's the last thing mesa wants."
Gametext: Cancel the gametext of an opponent's alien for remainder of turn. OR Suspend Brisky Morning Munchin until opponent's next draw phase.
And next, a fun new idea called a Speeder Chase...
*Follow That Speeder!
Destiny=6
Effect
Gametext: Swoops may be targeted as speeders. [deploy from reserve deck X icon] (for free): Keep This Chase Up, four Coruscant sites and one speeder to a Coruscant site with only one adjacent site (opponent may also [deploy from reserve deck X icon] one speeder to same site, for free). Each player may not have more than one speeder on Coruscant. No additional Coruscant sites may be deployed during a deploy phase. (Immune to Alter)
*Keep This Chase Up
Epic Event
Destiny: 0
Gametext: Speeders on Coruscant are landspeed=1, do not participate in battles and may only move in the direction away from the site they are deployed to. May initiate a speeder chase during your move phase: Speeders must move (for free), during owner's move phase, to the next adjacent site by drawing destiny; if destiny < manuever, player may draw a chase destiny and stack that card (face up) under their speeder; if destiny > manuever, speeder is 'damaged'.
When two speeders are moved to a site with only 1 adjacent site, players total their chase destines (subtract 1 from each if speeder 'damaged'); player with highest total wins and retrieves 2+X force, their opponent loses X force*Keep This Chase Up
Epic Event
When two speeders are move to a site with only 1 adjacent site, players total their chase destines (subtract 1 from each if speeder 'damaged'); player with highest total wins and retrieves 2+X force, their opponent loses X force. X=a player's total number of chase destinies. Place all chase destinies back into owner's used pile. Place this card (and Follow That Speeder!) out of play.

Now that we've all gotten a few ideas out there, I think it's about time we start focusing our efforts on the cards for the first expansion (I'm leaning towards calling it "Galactic Center", unless anyone has any objections or other suggestions?) so we can make some progress towards our goal. I'm not saying we should stop making cards from the other parts of the film, but if we try to finish all 3 sets at the same time, it'll take forever to get them done.
So, so far we have two objectives submitted that look pretty good- BPJ's "A Jedi Shall Not..." one for the lightside and my "Assassination" darkside objective.
We also have the podracing and speeder chase epic events that I submitted above.
I think those four elements would be our ideal points to base the other cards of this expansion on, with some misc other stuff to fill in the cracks.
I'd imagine we should aim for a card total of anywhere around 60 to 80 cards, but we can always up that if circumstances require it.
But, if there are any other suggetsions or objections before we proceed, please let me know::)

Hi R'bolt:
I've got a question. Do you have any suggestions for taking your slide shows, resizing the images and printing them out side by side on a sheet of paper? I'd like to do that rather than one at a time. I don't know photoshop very well (though I have it) and I'm having a hard time getting yourimages onto paper in a usable way.
I can resize an image and print it out, but one at a time takes forever...how are you doing it?
Anyone's input is appreciated
Thanks in advance

Well I've discovered regretably that the interface with my mac.com site isn't the best for people interested in downloading the card images. It's great for display but that about it. Screen captures of the images on a monitor isn't going to produce results all that satisfying.
With respect to printing the images, I've got the files in the correct size at 150 dpi resolution (which is actually the way I've been posting them to my site). I find that resolution works pretty well for outputting files to my color laser printer. Putting together photoshop composite files for printing them more than one at a time is something those with photoshop can elect to do. I usually print a number of different images at a time by compositing them in the pagination program QuarkXPress. I get 6 per page with letter size paper.
I'm not sure what the total file size would be for all the cards completed to date, but I suspect the file size would most likely be around 4 megs (jpegs at the 150 dpi resolution, and 2.5" x 3.48" in size). My photoshop files are in the vicinity or 3 or 4 megs each (unflattened). I'd be willing to e-mail those interested, jpegs of the cards already completed. I am a bit worried, however, that it might get to become somewhat of a task if there is a lot of demand for the files. I'm on vacation at the moment and would prefer to use my high speed connection at work. It would definately make uploading them a lot easier than working with a 56K modem.
***************
Edit: Update:
I've just tried downloading the images from the slide show using Internet Explorer. Saving the images to disk will essentially save the files to your drive at the 150 dpi resolution in the correct size. What you might try doing to print the images more than one at a time is to set up a target file in photoshop at 150 dpi and 8.5 x 11 in size. Dragging one card image after another into the larger target file would allow you the ability to composite 6 images and print them at once. Let us know if this works for you.
Again another option would be to "place" the images in a pagination program like Pagemaker or Quark. I'm not sure how well this might work in Microsoft word. I don't use word processors for the most part. Perhaps others have suggestions for outputting the files.
Note: The LOTR's_Star Wars files are not in the same resolution or the correct size for printing. They would require resizing in photoshop or in the pagination program. I might try getting around to reposting them in the correct size at some point. They also need editing to correct some of the inconsistencies with respect to Plan Bearer and Ring Bearer.

On the issue of file formats, I think the best idea would be to convert all finished cards to bitmap (bmp) format as Bib has done. The file size isn't as large as a Photoshop PSD and the quality is great. I don't know how Mac users will cope, but I'm sure someone bright will come up with a great idea . Another suggestion I have is to gang multiple cards onto a "sheet" image so it'll be easier to print them out.
Here's a few images I found that I thought would be useful. Judging by their darkness, I'd say they were screengrabs from the actual film, not captures from the trailer videos. The cards you've all created look great, but I just think some of the images from the trailers look too crisp and the colors too intense. They don't have that "film" look that the real CCG cards have.
Padme Images:

Padme #2
Padme #3
Padme #4
Padme #5

Here's two images I thought would be great for a Geonosis battle objective:
Final Circle
Attack of the Clones
Maybe someone can help me out with specifics, but the basic idea is that the objective has similar bonuses as the Invasion objective from Theed Palace, except with Jedi and Clones taking the place of Neimoidians and Droids.

Photoshop recognizes bmp file format. Mac users with photoshop shouldn't have problems opening the files.
On the saturation issue, I'd be curious as to what others might think. I know with repect to some images, I've purposely pumped up the saturation to make them more colorful. I find the card images generally print with less saturation to most printers on dull or uncoated papers. I wouldn't recommend printing them to a glossy paper. The saturation can be easily toned down in photoshop.
