Yeah, I've been following that one since Christmas. You should also check out Darths & Droids. Same idea as DMotR, but with Star Wars (Darths & Droids = D&D)

We had a nice earthquake  last night centered about 12 miles from where I live. Nice 5.6 on the scale. Don't know how much damage was done, but suspect not much. CA buildings are designed to cope (well, most modern ones are...) 
Was fun... just like a roller coaster without having to queue up. 
Lasted about 60 seconds, so just about as long as a lot of rollercoasters too.

Happy Halloween!
Anyone got costumes?
The local Indian restraunt had an interesting policy: anyone in costume got a free entree! I was in black, with black shirt (with french cuffs and dragon cufflinks) with black gloves and black jacket. A quick trip back to the van for the wookiesaber (heiland 5-cell flashgun) brought chuckles.
Decided not to open the door in costume tonight. Instead going to let the puppets (I have a lot, some of them 4-5 ft tall) take turns handing out candy! Should get a few giggles.

Earth quakes can be fun.
Or they can be nerve-wracking.
There are actually different types.
Given a choice, I'd rather live in an area with quakes than tornadoes.
How about Trick-or-treaters &/or halloween costumes? Anything interesting happen to anyone.

Finally got my Jedi costume together. Not that me being dressed up like a Jedi really surprised anyone, but it sure was a hell of a lot of fun walking around campus with a lightsaber clipped to my belt.

Tornado's can be a lot more frightening when they happen, but at least a whole state can't slide into the ocean from a Tornado

A friend bought me one of Hasbro's electronic ones (can't remember the name of them off hand but the ones with the noise effects), for my Birthday so I just used that one. Eventually I plan on making my own but that will probably be next year once my bank account has a chance to recover from making the costume and paying for school...
