Only had one set of trick-or-treaters. Had a 4' tall mother-troll puppet answer the door, which scared them far more than any of my costumes ever did. She was a screaming success.

Does anyone have any plans for this [Generic Winter Holiday]? My family and I always do some rather boring stuff, but we're hoping to have family over, or do something that doesn't involve travel or too much expense since I'm still unemployed, my Dad's retired and my Mom's a student, though I should have a job on Monday *fingers crossed*.

Thanksgiving - just parents and brother, although none of us have the same days off so I'm not sure how we are going to pull that off. I might have to cook the whole meal. All the time before we have had friends over, but none this year.

Thanks, I got the job. 
We already celebrated Thanksgiving up in Canada (I think it's the first Sunday of October) I was actually referring to the other winter holiday that seems to rile people up at the mere mention of it. So for the sake of being PC I'll just call it Major Generic Winter Holiday.

Instead od southwestern Tennessee, I am for the moment in california(greater SF area) getting readt with my dad and is familiy and we are going to head north to oregon and have thanksgiving with my favorite uncle, and probally play some Axis & Allies

Driving school bus, but it's an all day route, so the pay is nice. And it's just for now. I found a good course I want to try and get into in the fall.

Well... I've got a new job too!
I start in December, Junior IT Engineer. I'm out of the retail trap!
bang go my 50 hour weeks, organising wine tastings and working 15 hours some days, and bang go working weekends!!!
Moving in with the wife to be, working 9-5pm, monday to friday. Get in!
I'm going to be so glad to get some of my life back. I almost constantly worried about my current job, can't wait to get started with the new one.
Hopefully, after the first few weeks have gone and I've settled in, I might be able to get back to gaming.

Thanks Flare, it's gonna be exciting one way or the other. I just hope i'm cut out for it, having been in my current job for 4 years (and I'm only 23), I can only hope I'll be able to adapt as quickly as necessary!
Berx, I've actually kept lurking on the boards when I can because I miss it lots. I hope I can get back into things just as the SE game kicks off. Are you that deep into the planning that you have in mind starting levels?
