Yes the D6 way was quicker,had that more seductive style more for the role experience than the exacting who can do what with what bonus....Pretty much the difference between the movie sets.Fast paced with great heroics or plodding,poorly dialoged...better stop myself.
Sadly the D6 is out of print,West End Games has bellied up.My advice look for it at used stores.We must stop D20 from subverting us all...Quick,universal rules,more seductive it is...
